Great review. I’m so glad you compare the two as I was going to Nordstrom this weekend and I can’t make up my mind. I have smelled both so it’s really good to hear your take on it. I think I’m going to go with Valaya because of the longevity. It’s a steep price to pay for some thing that doesn’t last as long I agree, they are both beautiful sense. Eventually, I will probably add both to my collection, but for now, Valaya is the one I will purchase. Again, great review, and it was exactly what I was looking for.

Valaya for me doesn’t smell anything from PDM parfums, it’s just to different. And why it’s have to smell similar to anything? Why just not in joy and have fun with new lunch?

I realize it is now eleven months after this was filmed, but here are my recommendations: ditch Eros and Sauvage. Keep the Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Man, but get the Limited Edition Parfum version (eliminates the sharp opening and just better overall). Don’t buy Aventus, the Armaf will do just fine. Skip Oud Wood and go for Oud for Greatness from Initio; much more pleasing with eternal longevity. Tom Ford’s Grey Vetiver and Beau du Jour are elegant and timeless classics that can be used year round. Dior’s Eau Sauvage (not to be confused with Sauvage) is a classic masculine citrus scent that can also be worn year round. Tobacco Vanille … oh yeah; a fantastic scent. I recommend Xerjoff Naxos as an alternative to Tobacco Vanille. Great longevity and sillage with greater versatility (in my opinion). Finally, if you want to spring for a Creed, go for Royal Oud; by far the best in the house.

I think JPG La Belle Le Parfum smells very nice. You might also like YSL’s Libre Le Parfum or Libre Intense.

Hi Taylor, good video. May I offer a suggestion … spray some test strips two to three hours prior to filming. This gives you a more accurate dry down experience to pass along to your viewers and keeps you from having to continually wave the test strip in an attempt to get it to dry (very distracting). Keep plugging away, the subscribers will come!

Finally a review that makes sense😂. Ppl have been comparing valaya to oriana & even delina im like wth🙄 theyre completely different fragrances. Theyre not even close at least to my nose. I deff agree that meliora is the most similar if we have to compare. Imo valaya is better. Im glad I purchased it its a great addition for spring/summer.

Malachite is pretty amazing. I have a bottle to give me a sense of calm

The scherzo bottle I have…has no oud or spice that I can detect😢 I want to smell oud and spice 😂 it smells smooth, floral (almost like tuberose) and a little creamy…I haven’t worn it much but now I will spray the heck out of it to see if I detect oud and spicy rose.
