Hi! Do you have an unedited video of the concert or any footage between songs? Flea spoke directly to me and my best friend in the front row in between songs and told us we brought light to his life. and I can’t find any video of it :( would love to have the memory forever! It was either after scar tissue or universally speaking. He said it into the mic so it was definitely audible. Best moment of my life so I hope you have it!

Do you see any plains indians dancing around hogans, wearing crushed velvet, tiered skirts, and squash blossoms necklace ...thats your culture navajos....keep it..use it....... jingle dress, pow wows, and head feathers are from other tribes...
@RonJacksonToahani Жыл бұрын
You forget that we came from the north Canada and our Dene relatives there still continue the songs and dances of which is in our DNA. Do the Osage from where pow wow originated say the same about your tribe? Pow wows are a inter tribal celebration. The Navajo have taken in many refugees from other tribes and have adopted some their customs throughout history. We also wore buckskin and feathers in the past. Velveteen is not traditional and neither is tiered shirts which came from the wives of soldiers while we were being held as POWs at Fort Sumner in the 1860's. All over Turtle Island there are tribes who pow wow. I am sure there are a lot of Native peoples who wear Navajo jewelry but you don't see us trying to put down those who wear it.

If you mix traditions ...which is original? Pretty soon, they will, all be the same..

@RonJacksonToahani I thought that style of dress was Spanish. The Mexican tribes also have the same style of dress influenced by Spaniards.
