I got into Kate Bush's music only a month ago, and I also grew up in Belper! Seeing what is possibly her most beautiful song performed in a church I attended services in at a very young age is so mind-blowing to me. Thank you for making my day ❤️

Excellently well-filmed shrot video of this departure of the peak-hauled passenger train bound for the south of rowsley out there mate.... a tip-top 10 out of 10 for this video too. I myself (accompanied with my mum) visited, and rode aboard the pleasantly resplendent Peak Rail 'in-person' last year (April 2023), it was a memorable experience as well, especially as we (My mum and I) both later visited the ecclesbourne valley railway (at wirksworth) the same day 15/04/2023, for whom the EVR (at wirksworth) and peal rail (at darley dale) had their twin peaks gala during that very weekend of 15-16/04/23 last year, The day after visiting both the EVR (at wirksworth) and Peak Rail (at matlock) for whom we stayed at nearby accomodation the night before... my mum & I visited the Midland Railway - Butterley on the way home.... for me it was quite a weekend, visiting three heritage railways in one weekend, I look forward to hopefully revisiting them heritage railways in derbyshire, especially peak rail 'in-person' someday. Additionally, I still hope Peak Rail potentially extends further to the town of rowsley itself (at the original station site, opposite just before rowsley viaduct) someday.

Thanks for your kind comments. Pleased you and your Mum got to see all 3 heriatge railways while you were in Derbyshire, Butterley Midland Railway are currently trying to raise funds (£40k) for a new roof for the engine sheds. Peak Rail have made some good improvements to the approach road, since I was last there. The buildings on the platform are nice, and you can get a meal in the cafe, so all that is needed is a bit of sunshine and blue skies!

Yours is the clearest performance I’ve heard of this great piece. I often think organ music is spoiled or at least poorly represented by being played on the organ! 😊 (especially when played too fast in a vast resonant building - any detail is lost in the mash of sound). Not so in this case with your excellent playing, that lovely organ and that church!
