Thanks for the how to...I wouldn't do this everyday, but when you run out of new K cups, it will get you by. Btw, I didn't use foil but rather used 2 short pieces of packing tape with no leaks.

I generally use half cafe k cups…but sometimes I want to use full caffeine coffee or decaf…so I used those plastic reusable k cups. Now I bought a single serve Keurig for space and they won’t work in it. I don’t want to buy all three kinds of k cups so I have loose coffee in canisters I buy which last a long time…I’ve gotta figure out how to reuse a purchased k cup. At least till I’ve used my loose coffee…maybe later have to purchase all three in kcups. 😤

I recommend pulling out the dipstick before adding oil. It allows air to escape from the crankcase and is less likely for oil to burp out during filling. I learned that working at a quick lube

That oil is dirty.

Oil changes is the easiest thing to do. I recommended everyone do their own. A price of mind you’re doing it right and saving some money. Sometimes, I’ll just run an extra quart just to flush it through. And always do this when the engines warm too. Let’s the oil drain out faster and get more gunk out of there is any. Then make where oil level on the dipstick is right near the middle or higher.

You are lucky to have an older version. Mine is the 2.0 and has an electronic eye (sensor) that reads the symbol on the pod, so you can not do that !
