Just curious. Why did the priest go around the altar during the incensation? I only see this sort of thing being done in novus ordo masses. Usually the priest would only incense the epistle then the gospel side and back.

Traditionally in the older cathedrals, with detached altars, this was the way the rubrics had the priest incense. Modern churches have moved away from the free standing altar, so obviously the priest does not incense behind it.

A very beautiful hymn to the Immaculate Conception and the chapel dedicated to her is also beautiful. But watching the video, it seems that the statue of the Holy Virgin was placed facing the side of the Chapel... any meaning or is it just me?

I'm so touched! I'm Brazilian geologist. I know how rare is blue color in the stones! This color represents Our Lady and these beautiful blue stones (from my country) was selected for that! There is a little bit from Brazil in the altar of Sacrifice of Our Lord in the biggest SSPX Church! Deo gratias! 🙏🏼🥰

Beautiful. But am wondering where is the Sacred Heart and Blessed Mother Spanish Statues at? Are they still in the old Refectory turned into Chapel? I see a lot of icons in the church but where are the statues at?

They aren't installed immediately and are still being carved in some cases. Not everything is finished...

Never be defensive about the cost. It is the most beautiful new church I have ever seen. It will last a very long time. All for the glory of God. Thanks to all the donors, designers, builders ... everyone involved. A magnificent House of God.
