Every time my sons come to visit and I’m usually crocheting, they always say « what are you knitting now? ». it drives me crazy, they do it to wind me up,lol. Good luck with your results.🧶🤗👍

Okay. I'm going to give it one more try. I am a Knitter and I have been knitting for over 10 years. And I have tried to learn crochet too many times to count and I just cannot understand it. I feel really stupid because I know they make kits for like 6 year olds and they can figure it out just fine. Lol my main motivation is stuffed animals! Lol i collect them. 🤣 i would be unstoppable. Edit: just noticed how lovely you look. I know you're talking about some things you've been struggling with. But I just want to let you know woman to woman you look great. You really do and I don't think that is going to make your problems go away but I do hope it helps you. ❤

Well I made your crocheted rolled brim hat. I had to change a few things. Firstly my wool was a bit thicker than yours and I used a smaller hook 5.00 to be exact to tighten up the structure. I did single crochet for the roll up to make it firmer but was not crazy about the loosey goosey wave going on with the brim due to the increases. when done . I also did a row of reverse crochet to try and balance out the unevenness. Didn't come out too bad. I know this is just a basic pattern but even your pink demo for the video has a very wavy brim.

Hi, The starting chain is to chain 5, the first row is to work [treble, ch1] in the 5th chain from the hook until you have 10 trebles including the starting chain. Is that what you're missing? Let me know
