Interesting talk. I'm a painter myself and apparently I've been using fractal patterns over the past 5 years now. First I painted with static electricity (up to 30.000 volts) generating amazingly beautiful patterns. A link can be found here www.driesketels.com/portfolio/ And now in my latest series 'Witnessed Winter' I've been painting with chemical reactions. Again generating amazing fractal patterns, very similar to the structure of snowflakes under a microscope. Let me know what you think of my works. And always welcome to refer me to more info on fractal patterns and it's aesthetic capacities.
