I have a prism on my left lens and wen I put the glasses on it looks foggy is that normal or not?

That depends on the amount of prism, if it is ground in or a press on. Or the base power could be incorrect.

My mom’s PT person told us we should look into them. Do you happen to know any doctors in the San Diego California area? Thank you for posting this video 🙏❤️

I’ve recently developed symptoms, travelling once a month on the same highway to visit my mum 3 hours away. Depending on the speed limit, I travel between 50mph and 70mph (UK). The symptoms start in the same location each time - once I’m on the highway. It hardly ever happens when I’m driving in residential areas. My symptoms are my eyes feeling like they are rolling back in my head and THE CAR IS MOVING BACKWARDS, the sudden feeling like I am going to pass out and lose control of the car. Sometimes my right arm goes into a numb / tingling sensation. I do believe there is some form of panic as it feels exceptionally scary. I’ve thought it was stress or blood pressure even, however my BP was 100% when I tested it immediately the last experience. I have not been to the doctors yet as I’ve not been confident that the NHS will have any clue with the current health crisis. I’m so relieved to read the below comments as now I have some direction as to which specialist advice to seek. I have recently had a sharp decline in my eyesight and a couple of head concussions, so I am convinced it is my eyes.
@dickjohnson50254 ай бұрын
I’ve had symptoms of spacey/lightheadedness/ woozy, but no vertigo room spinning. Always my eyes are involved in these episodes/ events and feel disconnected from my brain. I can see fine, it just feels off, and I have to really focus to focus. I had an MRI in march, totally clear, all bloodwork is perfect. Met with ENT who said no sinus issues, go see neurology. Neurology says tension/ migraines and/ or occipital neuralgia. Taking supplements and doing PT for neck. Headaches are gone but spacey/fuzzy head remains and comes and goes. Just realizing maybe I need to attack this from the eyes first. All my symptoms sure sound like BVD so I’m calling the eye doctor tomorrow.

After adjustments to my glasses I still had problems and was told that my problems was between my ears. I was a firefighter for 30 years and I know what real fears are and are not. I was fearless and now i cannot drive on interstates or over high rise bridges. Is there any information you can share, as I was told I was off the charts after being tested and now they are telling me it is between my ears. I was wondering if your doctors are as reluctant to perform or reccomend surgeries for binocular dysfunction issues as I am getting from the eye medicine community at large. My soon-to-be first vision therapist has a glaring lazy eye from a botched surgery, even. For people who have double vision extreme enough (or fluctuant enough) that prism lenses are too hard to manufacture or unreliable, what other options are there besides an ill-advised surgical route?

@@lukehall373 I would get instant fight or flight anxiety as soon as I’d start to drive or pull onto the freeway. Also in large bright areas. I was in Home Depot once and it took everything in me to hold it together from feeling as if id pass out. My best way to describe it would be “hyper visual sensory overload “. My vision was so sharp that it would hyper focus on absolutely everything and not just what’s in front of me. It was like having the vision of Spider-Man X The Matrix all at the same time. Very interesting, yet overwhelming and caused a false sense of danger from not being able to keep focus on one thing. It was almost as if my brain was yelling at my eyes to correct what was already corrected, while my eyes were saying to my brain, “why are you saying we have a problem here when I can see 20/20?” 😂 I know that sounds insane but that’s the best way I can describe it. Go see your optometrist and ask to have a prism lense exam. The moment I put them on, my eyes had never felt so relaxed! An incredible sense of calm flowed through my entire mind and body in that instant. It was an incredible relief.

is this different than a astigmatism, that's the only thing dr been able to come up with, but been down the ENT, various DR rabbit hole and have come up empty. Just some weird imbalance that I can't seem to find the cause. Worse in big open spaces or if there is too much stimuli. Now it's getting worse when I'm trying to work in front of the computer.
