It would be nice if they could clean or remodel the bathrooms on the Magnolia side. Sometimes the sink water doesn’t even work 😑

@@Tsunseyu from what I can tell all the boats and kayaks that go through are tied while in the locks. I would think the same could apply to a ski.

you can go through the locks in a PWC, kayak or canoe, you will just be limited to the small locks. the only thing not allowed as of now are paddleboarders (it is too easy for them to fall in)

??? The earliest known 'humans' evolved around 2 million years ago in Africa and migrated North to Europe and North America. The first humans arrived in North America around 20, 000 years ago. Some controversy on the dates. The earliest evidence of humans along the Columbia River above Bonneville dates back to around 10-15,000 years after the last Ice Age. Hope that helps clear up any confusion.

A certain early 20th century European dictator clearly mentioned the US governments methods of dealing with native Indian as the basis for his blueprint for dealing with the Jews of Europe. His critique of these methods was very positive. You can read about them in his famous book written while he was serving a prison sentence in 1922. The title translates as My Struggle. It’s a hard book to find because of the many references to US policies mentioned as a model for the authors dubious world domination view. If you want a copy, get a pre 1970’s copy preferably but up to 2000 may be safe. After that I would be a skeptic about alterations.

Are you saying, "Elephant Butt?" If so, great. I collect elephant figurines and have done so since 1978, but when I hear anything "elephant" I just get excited. Would love to see this place, only if you are saying "elephant butt." Would love to find an elephant from "elephant butt!"

The South Fork of the Rio Grande River comes out of the drainage leading up to Wolf Creek Pass & Ski area; their junction is in the town of South Fork. The full length of Rio Grande, from northwest of Creede to the Gulf of Mexico, is a rather recent occurence 😎 Part of the geologic history of the mentioned vulcanism, was the creation of Lake Alamosa; when its huge valley overfilled, the spillover created the canyon flowing south.
