Beautifully shot, can’t quite figure out the theme of this one, to me it shows of escape and self-reflection how a broken soul seeks solace in motion. The drive becomes a quiet rebellion against stillness, where the road symbolizes both freedom and the endless search for meaning within one’s pain.

Wow man! You cooked, this looks so good! What did you do to colour grade this?
@Lovellex4 ай бұрын
I used one of the built in kodak luts (free with davinci studio) and played around with the Curves in color section, using the bottom line is what I’ve done a lot recently. Also yellowing it a ton and adding grain
@Lovellex4 ай бұрын
Also if you use Davinci, do you mind telling me your export settings? I see your videos play at decent quality. I’ve been trying to figure out for months now what settings to use.
@BlackmagicPocketCinemaCamera4k4 ай бұрын
Yeah for sure, I'll drop my camera settings too. I shoot in 24fps to make things cinematic and use false colour to set my exposure right. I shoot in braw 4k Q3-Q5 (I use lower quality so it doesn't lag davinci) I set my project timeline resolution to 2560x1440 (2K) and export at (2K). I had an issue before wondering why my quality wasn't there and I just about face palmed after seeing my timeline resolution was set to 1080p. You'll know if thats the case because when you export it'll tell you that you are upscaling. Depending on what you're doing you could set your timeline to 4k but since I crop in a bunch to stabilize footage I lowered it.

I pick one of the Kodak film looks in davinci and then I changed the color to make it yellowish. Then I added two FX Which was one of the blur options and film grain and just played around with other stuff that I forget

Do you have any tips for softening videos while still retaining detail, you do it perfectly
@Lovellex5 ай бұрын
I use the 80s preset in analog damage and that softens it a-lot. Then add grain. Then play with the high and low markers in the color section for bright/dark spots
