What brand did you use and should I buy water base or oil base
@woodfloorguyzАй бұрын
Water-based products are generally easier to clean up, have lower odor, and dry faster. They are often used for indoor projects and are less likely to yellow over time. Oil-based products tend to provide a more durable finish and are better for high-traffic areas or surfaces that need extra protection. However, they take longer to dry and require solvents for cleanup.jimmyfloorings.com/blog

Hello. What type of hardwood is the flooring and stain? My house is 100+ years old and the flooring needs replacement. They can’t be refinished. It’s close to the coloring of the floor in this video.

Apply the stain: Use a applicator or a clean cloth to apply the stain to the floor, working in small sections. Apply the stain along the grain of the wood, following the manufacturer's instructions for drying time and coverage. Wipe off any excess stain with a clean cloth. Take care to maintain a consistent application to achieve an even color.

The frequency of refinishing hardwood flooring depends on the wear and tear your floors experience. On average, wood floors may need to be refinished every 5 to 10 years to maintain their appearance and durability.
