How many times have driven an 18 wheeler? Probably never.

They all come up at once because the PM interval is the same for All, 500hrs. Engine oil and filter, fuel filter, hydraulic oil filter an air filters. They say the final drive interval is 1000, but only do that if you like replacing $5000 final drives. Do it every 250. Each hold about $6 worth of oil. I’d also do engine oil and filter at 250. The fuel tank filter is small inline filter before the big fuel filter.

What oil for 2015 304 final drive?
@jfitz9624Күн бұрын
@@nathanielmoore5677 my recommendation would be Cat 30 weight TODO/TO-4 spec oil. You can also get aftermarket TO-4 but cat oil is pretty cheap. All full size excavators going back decades run TO-4 oil. For some reason for the minis they spec 75w-140 gear oil. I do regularly oil sampling on my machines and sample after sample with that gear oil was terrible. Very high levels of wear metals and oxidation. It was so bad they had me bring in my machine to pull the covers on the finals and inspect them for damage, which it ended up not having any, it’s just wearing fast. So my fluid monitoring advisor recommended using the 30wt TO-4 oil and every sample since then has been perfect.

Someone probably replaced or took the bumper off at one time and didn't get that tube put back in the right place. 40 Plus years in the Autobody trade, and yes I have seen this before but usually it is all rusted together from all the road debris tha it is constantly in threw out the years. Peace to all my brothers and sisters! Montana Rick.

I use a needle scaler on golf carts on the frames, they get corrosion and rust like a MF, these save time and money. They last longer than i wire brush as well

You were extremely helpful! I appreciate how you explained how the rod may not have found its way on to the fitting. It was a struggle to be able to peer in to where it may be sitting adjacent to it and dadgum it, there it was! Happy you went to the trouble to let us all know about it.

This is the LAZY MAN'S way! You should used a fitted threaded nut instead of a slider nut. YOU risk ruining the threads from the stress of tightening with a drill. Too many people are doing this and those of us who do things the right way will always cringe at this! You ruin them threads and you'll have a much bigger job on your hands.

Do you need a Magnetic starter or Magnetic connector for this compressor. I was under the impression anything @ 5 or more HP should have it.

You answered the one question that I couldn't find an answer to in the manual before purchasing, and that was what size pipe outlet is on the compressor outlet. Good to know it's 3/4 NPT, I was about to buy a bunch of 1/2 NPT parts to plumb it in with, so thank you for that. Also, I know exactly which Tractor Supply that is! Greetings fellow Northern Virginian!

I just bought one -- picking it up next week. Curious, did it come oiled from factory? I may need to transport horizontally, so wondering if I need to drain first.
@nathandeparis98527 ай бұрын
That's the thing with those maintenance kits. if You follow it to a Tee they kind of make you have to buy that kit then by that time the oil is like 100 hours old and the airlifter is absolutely caked . ill do mine piecemeal according to the manual but will never wait 100 hrs to do the oil even with synthetic oil. I think the pre cleaner is every 25 the air element is 50 so ill wash the pre cleaner with dawn then at 50 hours have a new air cleaner ready. I barely put 20 hrs a year on my mower so buying a kohler one isn't that bad. but yeah required is a break in oil change in my manual then I do it every season which is roughly every 25 hrs.

Dude, I kid you not. I've bought 3 separate tools for doing this and all of them break in a few months. I had no idea it could be done with such cheap replaceable parts. I spent nearly 300 dollars in total so far. thank you so much.

the door visibility is an absolute deal breaker, they should fix it because its an easy redesign. i have looked at cat, kubota, tak, case and i will say that case is pretty much the best when it comes to the numbers and specs, light weight and powerful, now that being said, i passed on spending the 100k on a tv450b and went with a machine that was practical. Case front door was my deal breaker along with the electrical operated joysticks vs a hydraulic one like takeuchi

Yes I just had the same thing on my silverado, the tube was off the hoist. Mine was also stuck so I cut the cable off the bottom piece. Lubed the crap out of the new one with pb blaster silicone spray. Allegedly dust dirt etc. wont stick to it. Time will tell.

I know this is old but on fuel filter change and prime, if you unscrew black knob on side of fuel filter housing, that will bleed air out of filter. Just crack it open some while priming.
