I absolutely love cleaning my plants leaves. Especially my alocasia metalhead. Her leaves are huge and theres so many its very meditative 🧘‍♀️ love seeing yours since I rarely see this alocasia in videos. I hope shes still thriving.

Thanks for sharing. Had few spares laying around so I decided to do the #2 as weather is getting colder, so a lot of plants have to go indoor. Took me the whole day to get it done. It turns out pretty nice thanks to you. It's one of those projects which got me inspired to get it done so fast. Now I will let someone decorate it. I used 3 2x12 pressed wood as shelves by reinforcing with 2x4 posts, a little bit different but rock solid and stable.

I just bought a regal shield that looks really sad. The store had it outside in September in zone 7b. They chopped one leaf, a second leaf is 2/3 torn off, third leaf looks faded, sad, and slightly wilted maybe, and the fourth leaf looks nice. I'm think of forcing dormancy and storing the "bulb" for the winter. Trying to get it to recover as we go into winter seems like a lot of work for me and the plant, and the plant might do much better waiting till spring.

I was looking for the follow up video on how your training went for your puppy but could not locate. My 6 month old was doing really well and always gets into distorting plants in planters, digging in plants and breaking apart plants on lawn and even ripping up grass.

I think you made a slight mistake at the end when you hung the doors. The doors have slots that the tabs on the cabinet lid insert into before they are secured with the pins. This prevents the doors from being hung upside down as you initially did. I found this out the hard way--I initially put those tabs on *top* of the doors like you did but had to loosen the bolts attaching the cabinet lid to do this (just like you). When I retightened the bolts, I bent the tabs; the doors would only swing freely with the bolts untightened. I discovered my mistake while watching your video, straightened the bent tabs and inserted them into the door slots...it all works better now. I notice you don't show the top of your cabinet at the end of the video. I am guessing you have a gap between the lid and the vertical posts in the front. Anyway...thanks for the helpful video. I agree with your fiance that the product is well designed. Good luck in your marriage!

Use velcro plant tape for support, wrap a few layers. Its easier on the stalk without running the risk of cutting into the plant like twine. Beautiful plant!

Now I have to go to Dollarama :) I saw pots on the porch that showed briefly but you did not mention those :) If it comes to the ceramic pots I bought 12 of them last year and while keeping them in the shed they all fell apart. Great post!
