You could have just placed the scales in front of both tyres and rolled the bike in front to weigh it. Why would you risk a hernia/slip disc lifting that beast?
@thesundayridesКүн бұрын
Thank you! Well, I used cheap kitchen scales which stand on 4 tiny plastic legs. before filming this episode I did exactly like you suggested and as soon as the wheel rolls over the nearest edge of the scale, whey lift up and these tiny legs break and scales don't work. So had to risk my health to record the episode for the KZbin :)

They stopped teplying to my messages after taking payment. 6 months on they have completely stopped replying. Now i have to either go to thailand to get my money, or get Thai police to investigate. Either way, please please please dont order from them no matter how tempted you are.

Hey! Thanks! I wanted something smaller and slightly different from stock. And most likely there will be no space for the stock bars, because RC 609 are not long enough in the controls. Please measure the control area and search for taller bars with enough space for the grips, switches and brakes and clutch. Also, if you are okay with black - there are many options. If you like gold - you can try rizoma (my previous bars) or renthal rc 609 my current ones.

I wonder why bike manufacturers design and use such cheap and ugly looking turn indicators ? I reckon most owners this is the first mod on their list … you did this with your interceptor and now the Ducati, 😂
@thesundayrides14 күн бұрын
I think this could be a part of the big plan. I had this thought about the catalytic converter. it is stupidly ugly, it's bright steel colour, it is asking to be replaced with a lovely and elegant straight pipe. Even Ducati has one. I think bikes for the USA market go without the cat.

The real problem with this bike is that for having 800cc it has very few hp and nm, it only has 2 valves and it comes without liquid cooling and that is even though it is the brand's entry-level motorcycle, meaning that from your first experience with Ducati they are already giving you shit.

my sg650 with fuel X air filter DNA and exhaust silencer did not lose any acceleration when in open loop. In closed loop a noticeable improvement in torque. The air fuel mixture is definitely improved I am now at 3000km and the engine is running like a dream I did go with Iridium spark plugs this helped a little with detonation at higher revs. There shouldn't be any change at higher revs it sounds like something isn't right with the way your motorcycle is running. Start from scratch with the easy stuff, check if the accelerator is opening all the way, check spark plugs, is the clutch adjustment correct and not slipping , etc etc.

The shinny part of the front forks is a bearing surface for the oil seal to slide on. It needs protection from grit and water. Why do you claim gaiters have no function?

I really appreciate all the testing you have done, but I don't understand why. If you want speed and power, buy a sports bike. However, if you want a machine that is rock steady, reliable, looks and sounds great, stick with the factory spec RE Interceptor. Of course, there are things to change that will enhance the performance, but these are not engine related. New shocks on the rear, quality brake pads and possibly different tyres, but stick to the spec as shipped, it works well 😊😊

hi that rotation i did too on my stock hunter handle to increase the height of the handle bar , also i increased the cushion of the seat by adding the pillow cushion, so yes it made a lot of difference in the ride comfort, finally the hunter's sound is more than Nightshift's scooter sound and also more than an int650's sound, it is more bassy and scares all on the 5 meter radius while accelerating so i installed a db killer to kill the bass and improve the initial pickup also by improving the backpressure so yes all you these 3 things i did too in a sort of jugaad way to feel better, nice video and awesome bike, i like only the nightshift from the ducati lineup
