COST: As of 12 January, 2025, the cost of this product (without shipping?) appears to range from $11.76 per sq ft if you buy a 102" x 10' piece for $999.95, to $4.70 per sq ft if you buy a 102" x 40' piece for $1599.95. Also note in the reviews on the linked page that for some orders the rolls of metal are apparently crunched, crimped, dinged and otherwise damaged during shipping.

Hello, as long have a 120v outlet nearby, you could use a 120v to 12v converter to power the heater pad. 120v without the converter will be too much for the heater kit.

Thanks for asking! So we used silicone over butyl tape for a better physical appearance. You can use butyl tape if you'd like and it'll have the same benefits, just might take a little bit longer to make sure it looks nice. If we were installing something on the roof of the camper then we'd use butyl as it wouldn't be as visible.

I want to know the internal structure used to fasten the wall bracket to the seat. When I bought these, I thought that the triangle wall bracket would bolt to the seat angle iron. I didn’t see that is somehow fastened to the internal structure. Is it lumber? A captured threaded rod? I’m trying to build my own with bracket kit.

Is there an additional slot that isn't showing on the door? I want to get this fridge but not really liking how the door is constructed? Where the ketchup & mustard bottle is sitting on, it looks like it isn't sitting up straight. Not deep enough bottom to it? I want to make this work for my camper.

Can you run your inverter off the batteries at the same time as your charging?
@RecProUSA
@RecProUSA 2 ай бұрын
You should be able to run 12v appliances while charging your batteries with this converter. When plugged into an AC power source, such as shore power, it will prioritize charging the batteries but will also direct 12v power to your 12v appliances. It is also possible to run an inverter off the batteries while they are being charged by the converter/charger, although this is not always recommended for long periods as it can potentially overheat the battery or batteries and put stress on the electrical system. When testing things out, keep an eye on your battery temperature, voltage fluctuations, and be mindful of the overall power draw. Hope this helps answer your question!

@RecProUSA so it's not good to make coffee (110 v ) using the inverter when the batteries are charging then? I've tried it and the converter seems to draw more power from my generator to run the coffee maker. It's hard to find info about this. I'm in an offgrid situation using gas generators as "shore power"

Can I get with the door already swing open the way I want it
@RecProUSA

No, we do not reverse the doors before shipping them. The refrigerator doors (while facing the refrigerator) swing out and to the right out of the box. If you want the doors to swing out to the left you'll need to reverse the doors. Thankfully, it's a pretty easy and quick process but if you have any trouble and need some help you can all our Customer Service Team and we'll help guide you through it. We'll also be working on a "How To" video for reversing the doors in the near future, so keep an eye out for that!

Lot's of information here, wxcept the one I need: How to reverse the door swing. I can't figure out HOW to reverse the pin on the very top of the freezer door. The nut holding this pin to the fridge is hidden behind the frame of the refrigerator. The top does NOT appear to be removable to gain access to the top of the pin. Maddening.
@RecProUSA
@RecProUSA 3 ай бұрын
We're sorry to hear you're having some trouble! There should be two screws on the back of the refrigerator that secure the top cover to the top of the refrigerator. Remove those two screws and you should be able to remove the top cover and get access to the nut on the pin. Hope this helps, but if you need further assistance give our Customer Care Team a call and we can help guide you through it!

@RecProUSA

The light will not come on if the output voltage of the charger/converter has dropped or is set below the battery voltage. Double check the charge voltage of your battery and the output voltage of the converter/charger using a multimeter.

Is it ok to upgrade my 60amp converter to a 75amp? Im only using 1 lithium battleborn battery
@RecProUSA
@RecProUSA 3 ай бұрын
A 75 amp converter should be more than enough for a single Lithium battery. Our converters are compatible with lithium batteries and have adjustable output from 13v DC to 16.5v DC, and most lithium batteries seem to have a charging voltage of 14.6v DC. So, our 75 amp converter should keep your lithium battery charged and working.

Could you go into detail with how adjust the potentiometer to the different voltages? I see a small phillips head slot but don't see an arrow or something to indicate the current setting.
@RecProUSA
@RecProUSA 3 ай бұрын
You'll need to remove all loads & batteries from the converter, then use a multimeter connected to the positive and negative terminals to measure the output voltage as you adjust the potentiometer. By default, our converters are set to 14.6v. Turning the potentiometer left with a phillips head screwdriver will adjust the voltage between 13v and 14.6v, while turning it to the right will adjust the voltage between 14.6v and 16.5v. Once set to the desired voltage, reconnect 12v DC load connections up to about two thirds of the converters rated capacity and re-check the voltage output with the multimeter; the voltage output should remain the same as it was without load.
