Hi again, got a question for you: what chords would you play A Perfect Day, Elise? I see Em, Bm, G, Am everywhere - but Am sounds completely off to me. Had this question for years, so... :) Interested if you come up with something better perhaps.

Hey what guitar is this
@ClarkyGuitar26 күн бұрын
Hi, it's a Mexican Stratocaster. It has a coil split in the bridge pickup, so it can be either a humbucker or a single coil. I've had it for years, it was cheaper than a US Strat.

I'd like to say it's such a simple song but somehow taking me ages to memorize the exact sequences. You know, for precision's sake as an exercise.

At the end you may want to add some cacophony, i think on her recording this is done by some violins or somesuch.

Eg, probs not right but i came to letting all 6 strings ring whilst pressing the EADG strings down in Fmaj position and leaving B and e open. Then alternate between 2nd/5th fret.

Is that Tele or a Strat? How long do you think that would take if it’s the first song you learned when first picking up a guitar?
@ClarkyGuitarАй бұрын
It's a Reverend Charger which is sort of like a Tele. I'm not sure how long it would take from just starting but there's a lot to consider like timing and rhythm, learning the chords and being able to swap between them comfortably. It's not a hard song by any means but I would definitely try getting some chords down and then moving between them first, that was the hardest thing for me.
