After 40 + yrs in the saddle, Dr's said a broken neck and back and arthritis have finished me. Ride any more and I'm in a wheelchair. Granddaughter finally made my decision for me. Don't do it grandpa, I need you 😢 I miss it every day. But I've realised that what I was chasing for all those yrs doesn't mean anything compared to this little girl. My happy place was in my Pete. Now it's every second I get to spend with my girls. Making up for lost time doesn't always mean hammer down. Those old enough to remember when we could let em go with sticks to the wall will understand. There's no other feeling like it when the needle goes way out off the chart. But the feeling I get from my girls is more important. Live life. Be proud. Truck on. 🤟😎👍🚛🚛🚛

This song brings tears , I retired from the road 10 years ago after 35 years because of M.S. taking my ability to walk and use my right arm and I miss the road dearly.

Will You Still Love Me Cody Jinks I can tell just what you’re thinking You know I’ve seen that look before You though it might be fun, walking down my road But we both know you should have known Over time I’d lose my shine But my time it’d all fade away And broke down boots don’t know How to take a break That’s why I asked you long ago Will you still love me Will you still love me when I'm gone (Will you still love me when I'm gone) You know my time is spent, on the road It’s never been a matter, of faithfulness at all Will you still love me when I'm gone (Will you still love me when I'm gone) I don’t like these broke down highways But they get me to where I have to be But all these franchise towns, look the same to me So when I need to call back home Will you still love me Will you still love me when I'm gone (Will you still love me when I'm gone) You know my time is spent, on the road It’s never been a matter, of faithfulness at all Will you still love me when I'm gone Will you still love me when I'm gone (Will you still love me when I'm gone) You know my time is spent, on the road It’s never been a matter, of faithfulness at all Will you still love me when I'm gone (Will you still love me when I'm gone) Will you still love me when I'm gone Will you still love me when I'm gone

I drove 10 years before I tore the meniscus's in both knees, climbing into a trailer for a small piece of pallet. Was my dream since I was 8 years old. YOU CAN LEAVE IT, BUT IT WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU .. (OR ME..).

Such a great song. We’ve all been there trying to get over a relationship and as times goes on it hurts less and less not like it used to in the beginning. Love the video. My days off I love just driving and listening to country music with the windows rolled down and feeling the summer weather.
