Why would you have the needle valve bracket above the deck. It’s not likely you’ll need need to constantly adjust it .
@purecanadianlifestyleАй бұрын
Thanks for you comment, when installing the bar kit it came with the necessary hoses and the length of the hoses would determine where everything would line up, it's not in the way and if you do need to adjust it is not far away. Hope this answers your question. Cheers from John and Audrey

Thanks for the comment, we purchased our Range Road processor 5 years ago and at the time it was within our budget, we have only processed wood for our own use and for our needs it has been doing what we need it to do. @@purecanadianlifestyle The manual has you align the tracks with string, then tighten side bolts. You tightened the bolts, then aligned with string. I was also thinking of something from Dave Boyt’s video, he said tighten the carriage bolts first. The manual instead has you install and tighten the carriage bolts after tightening the side bolts. Also the manual says to position the axle same distance from the front with an extension as you would without extension, instead you positioned it the same distance from the back. Did you leave the axle there, or move it later? I thought that would leave too much distance from tongue to axle.
@purecanadianlifestyle2 ай бұрын
@@mountainguyed67 We followed the manual as best as possible, if I remember correctly we used a ratchet strap to pull everything tight together then we tighten the bottom carriage bolts first to properly align the two pieces of the frame together, then the side bolts were tighten as we aligned the top rail with the string. As for the axle that is a good point, does it make a difference for the tongue weight or would the trailer flex more when hauling on the road??? I do remember the manual was not clear where to place the axle when the extension is added, we knew we were not going to be driving on the road with this machine so we did place the axle further back with the idea that when pushing the carriage down the track we would not have to step around the wheel or reach around the wheel to remove the lumber from the mill. We since purchased the intelliset computer setworks for the mill and it is so much easier to run the mill with it. Hope this answers your questions. Cheers from John and Audrey
