@ unsure its louder on cold starts then gets to a slight tap and that’s about it I’ve looked in the bores and no cylinder scoring is visible checked torque converter bolts didn’t see any cracks, exhaust manifold is new, lifters all push oil fine so idk what it is

Now that I’ve done my own 2 inch kooks headers I can’t stress this enough replace your spark plugs your going to need NGK Iridium IX Spark Plugs LFR5AIX-11 # 4469 these spark plugs worked great for me , I didn’t change mine because they only had 1400 miles on them but then I couldn’t get rid of that check engine light and I had a traction control light as well. so I change my spark plugs to these NGK’s, and it took away both of my check engine lights so do yourself a favor and change those spark plugs their a little pricey but your thank yourself later.✌🏼🐶

We took them off because they are way too soft. We dearched the stock leafs and got the same height and way better load capacity

Looks nice, but the stock mirrors are hideous. I like the 1998-2000 front end with a 2001-2003 XLT bumper look most. Love the custom tailgate & black interior too.

Yes we ran the 2 gauge wire over the stock cable. Its been great ever since

yea bro I've seen other ZL1 Kooks 2" header videos out there with Corsa exhaust and they cut the cats and replace them with 3" competition pipes and that it. everything lines up perfect no leaks nothing. and that jet hot I hope you did not pay to have all that done because with Kooks you don't need any of that. but its all about peace of mine right lol. anyway thanks for the content hope everything is still running good. @slowrook we had to cut a bit of the plastic where the door harness goes thru to get the speaker wire thru that plastic plug

@@OXCFilms thru the socket itself or thru the rubber tube? i was thinking to do thru the sokcet but the rubber hose in the front is so tight and have 2 parts with plastic housing, and then start thinking to make just is extra tubing and fed it thru on the side of current rubber tube with zipper

@slowrook we went thru the plastic socket itself so that the wire wouldnt get pinched or anything since its together with the factory harness

But coil is new , spark plugs , wires , tried swapping the distributor, new alternator , got a used igniter off Facebook marketplace no fuses are blown and my battery is good

Is it street/smog legal in CA? If pulled over, would this get state a ref? The state is screwy now with all the anti-mod police. A lot of stuff needs BAR certifications from SAC. Not sure on the harnesses for street either. Does it come with any paperwork associated with any of that?
