It's sadly what happens to most fan games. I''ve seen and played countless amazing Castlevania fan games that ended up dying out. It may have been one of the best games to ever release but I doubt it will ever really see the light of day.

16:19 Anyone remember that FNF mod where there was an EXE that burned Tails alive, and his corpse was in the background propped up by a rock while that EXE sung against BF? I think this level was a reference for that.

People are gonna be mad about this one! Look i have a rule. If a game doesnt come out in a 5 year period and communication is dead silence.. I just stop caring. Cause its usually a sign a few things. 1. Feature creep. The dev is changing the scope of the game too much and is destroying the games ability to release. 2. Theyre are definitely issues with development. Imma about to say something that will get me crucified, but silksong is in trouble and the same is here. Sorry but a game should not dead silent. Dead silent means you dont think its worthy of a look. The only exception to this rule is if your normal dev behavior is to be dead quiet. 3. Something is shaky with the dev. Yandere dev is a major one. A complete game is detrimental to the livelihood of the developer. Development and hype can build hype around a game that can then be transfer a dev. Making streams and videos a lucrative business.

Ahahahaha. No. AI isn't even close to being able to do that, even if you fed it the entire 1 hour video of MMXC.

@AmatsuDarkfyre it's not hard at all. Every sprite can be ripped easily from the videos online. The full decomposition of Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time's assets was much harder to do because every texture had to be rebuilt from scratch which required forensic work to find the source photographs. Everything here is up for grabs. There's nothing complicated about it, it's just sprites and a few layers.

In my opinion, no game is worth following for 10+ years. It's one thing if you've wanted a game to exist, and then the company finally greenlights it, so you technically have waited 10+ years for something like Mega Man X9 (just as an example), but if the actual development of the game is a decade long wait, I've got better things to do.
