Good video, very detailed! I’m having similar ongoing issues with my TV. It started with green lines appearing after the screen blinked at the top and bottom a year ago, it stopped blinking but the lines stay unsolved. Problem it’s now blinking again. Do you know what might be causing this? Thanks!”

@DIYTipstricksandhacks11 күн бұрын
It did mate, I haven't had a problem with condensation since. The strange thing is that my colleagues have the same van but different years and never suffered with the same problem. Some people insulate the inside with felt/carpet and apparently that works well. I couldn't deal with the aggro of that though, removing all the racking etc.

@DIYTipstricksandhacksАй бұрын
@@TheNuclearManx if it were me I would use a 22mm to 3/4 adapter. The only problem with this method is you kind of have to get it pretty spot on, if it protrudes too much your chrome collars won't meet the wall, if it protrudes too little you won't have enough thread to nip the shower valve up. How do I find the T-con board for my model???
@DIYTipstricksandhacksАй бұрын
Unfortunately you will need to remove the back from your TV first. The T-con board is easily recognised. It will have a printed part number on it. If you Google that part number I'm sure there will be dozens for sale on eBay.

My door is locked and I can't get it unlocked, key turns but door won't open? subbed
@DIYTipstricksandhacksАй бұрын
Ahh that's a nightmare situation. I've had it before, sometimes the cam lever inside the locking gear box just gets stuck, a few sharp taps with a hammer on the end of the barrel lock may free it (worked for me) if that fails you are looking at a new locking mechanism and gear box which can only be replaced once you have the door open. I believe in this situation a locksmith quite literally forces the handle down to open the door, it will likely destroy the handles etc but at least you have access to replace parts.
@DIYTipstricksandhacksАй бұрын
I'd advise getting a quote from a locksmith first, they may seem expensive but they will supply the parts for far cheaper than you are able to purchase them yourself. Thanks for watching and keep me updated, let me know how you get on👍

great job on the video. Thanks for posting. I found an LG 37" Tv and it powers on but the lines I'm seeing are fragmented. Instead of going across the screen they are more like a puzzle piece. Firstly check alignment of barrel, slightly unscrew barrel retaining screw, tap it gently to and fro checking key turns ok with door open, tighten retaining screw at sweet spot, if no luck just undo barrel retainer screw, and replace barrel like for like, do measure and take photo if needed, Screwfix, b and q etc will have them, not that expensive. Possibly Also for difficulty throwing handle up when door shut: The keeps on door frame need slight repositioning maybe, the door possibly dropped, adjust the cam rollers on side of door if possible with allen key, if handle goes up fully and key turns ok to lock the barrel when door open then the issue can be, dropped door? Keeps need raising or lowering,? Adjust side cams with allen key to allow handle to travel up easier. Lubricate all moving parts and lock barrel twice yearly. If daylight is seen top of door or looks out of square then it's dropped badly and it'll need reglazing correctly using the toe and heel method, but always square up the unglazed frame in its opening first by using packers at bottom until square in its frame top and bottom, lock off door by throwing up handles then reglaze properly. (SEE VIDS ON Y.T TOE AND HEEL. OR HEEL AND TOE)
