In theory it might affect ur gameplay since it involves some latency on your spell queue and your reaction time, but i know alot of players that are playing caster classes with the same latency as u or even more and they do top on logs so i guess as long as u're used to play with this latency you're fine. 210 isnt that high, ofc at 400 or 1000 ms it should be almost unplayable but 210 is playable imo

someone did calculation years ago and theorycrafted that it was worth using racial during BL - better than splitting both at different times; by a small amount of dps gain. Concerning hase pot; imo wild magic is 100% worth using during BL compared to haste pot. This gives good balance between haste/spell power/crit chance. I rather have more crits during BL than cast more fb without critting; still personal taste ig

Like every mage should do, logically you try to use combustion on maximum spell power proc, so yeah ideally double trinket + ring + Cloak but its hard to proc everything at the same time so try your best to use it on max spell power, try to avoid wasting 1 stack of combustion on living bomb explosion, it should be either 2 fireball 1 pyro, or 2 pyro 1 fireball, or either 3 fireball

@@Beastfireqt thx for answering. now i have another situation that i ve thought about. is it really worth to refresh lb when you are in that frenzy of berserking and bl aswell ? cuz i have a feeling it isnt. also, at some point (at around 0:38) you had like 2 seconds left of phyla and you refresh lb on it instead of throwing a pyro proc that you had available which is think it was a dps los since dropping that proc in the last phyla ticks woulda been a greater value. my point is (and thats what im doing experiments with) : 1 - when my cast time is 1,5 sec or bellow i dont refresh lb anymore especially if i have procs up and its a single target boss. i wanna make sure i squeeze in as many fb/pyro as i can on most of my procs. 2 - if i have like 3-4 seconds left of my big trinks i ignore the push the limit rule and throw any pyro procs i have so that i make sure they re gonna be under the effect of cts or phyla before they fall of like, for example, as i mention you chose to refresh lb which i think it was a slight dps loss. and 3 - rule 1 doesnt apply if you re at bpc or lk. especially lk. lb becomes a prio since it ll always hit multiple targets proc ing ignite on multi target/pyro procs of course. so far, these experiments brought me my personal best on burst on my 6,1 mage (4 set, engi + tailor, phyla cts on nm), which was 32-33k at dbs with hero, zerging and wild magic. or you can call it rng, but ill keep testing and tracking this. id be glad to hear your thoughts on this.

@@oneyellowfellow6345 Well tbh I've already think about that kind of situation. It ended that my muscle memory still wanna refresh LB instead of throwing a pyro. Throwing a last pyro with last second of a trinket proc is surely worth and I practice myself and forced myself to push pyro button instead of LB sometimes; but most of the time refreshing LB is so much an automation implemented in my gameplay and my fingers so I kinda just refresh LB. Also think about 1 fact : which one deals the more damage : Living bomb ticking full + exploding with trinket procs; or only 1 pyro with trinket proc ? I didnt do the maths + calculation (but you can and you SHOULD do it yourself on dummies so you will have the answer) but I'm pretty sure Living bomb full ticked + exploding with trinket proc is higher dmg dealt. Adding to that; Consider if you delay your LB at this point you will lose 1 or 2 ticks. Also I've asked some top logs mage and most of them they still refreshing LB instead of throwing pyro at this time. So I just keep refreshing LB. But if you look at the same situation without LB going to expire; it should probably be worth to throw that pyro proc without taking care of 2T10 uptime; yeah; since you're losing nothing exept potentially 0.2sec or 0.4 (0.2 x2) sec of casting on your next fireballs if they doesnt crit. All that said; I would just refresh LB even at the end of trinket; and keeping my pyro proc.

@@Beastfireqt ty for the answer. About the full damage of lb, even if it would deal more damage, it would deal that damage in 12 seconds, pyro or fb does it on cast. The only thing that i find lb relevant is because of the ignite uptime, as it can increase it most of the time so you can get that phat ignite, especially on trinkets. Im talking single target. On lk, no doubt you should make sure you have always have lb up especially in ghouls/valk phase

Yes; To min max 2T10 uptime I avoid using every hot streak stupidly; just hold it until you are sure to get a hot streak with next spell

That rng was amazing. I keep coming back to your video. My mage is now 6.4k gs but since i got 2 items last raid havent got to test em. My best at dbs is 21k no pi, no tricks and i was 6,3 with cts and phyla on nm. Also, imi using potion of wild magic, at least at pull, since i want that extra 200 sp on that combustion. I ve noticed that you re mostly using haste ones ? Is there smth i should know about it ?

@@oneyellowfellow6345 I use speed potions when i dont get PI or bloodlust at pull, otherwise I use Wild magic, try to equilibrate haste/Crit chance/spell power, but actually its just personal preference, Haste are also cheaper Doesnt change alot from hc trinket or nm ones, as long as u got pnl and cts its fine, 21k is not bad, your dps will depends on alot of factors, guildrun or pugs, fight lenght (second pnl, second mirror; longer execution phase or not); its a good start if u can finish a fight over 20k; still room for improvement; I didnt necersarly had big rng on this video; 80% crit on fireball is kinda average

but to give you and indication at 6K3 gs i did 25k once on dbs in pugs; since fight was long i got second mirror and second pnl proc that helped; but also a good rng on crit. You cannot define ur performance by dps; imo it can be defined by your activity time and your hot streak procs management. Also there is 6K3 gs non optimized; and there is 6K3gs "optimized"; gearscore doesnt mean much as long as u got both trinkets, good weap; 4t10 piece and 800+ haste u are ready to blast
