My 2003 has a front crank seal leaking to the front shaft for 4x4. It leaks a lot. I also have the shift shaft crank seal leaking.

Broom. Thanks for the video. I have the same thing and need to change out that seal. Can you let me know how you removed the rear shaft. It appears that you need to remove the swing arms and shock bolt. In the video I think you were able to avoid that. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Had to remove the swing arm with a special double ended socket from Amazon to do mine. Don't worry, that was the easy part 😅 Took me like 4 hours to rip that damn seal out. I've seen them pop right out on other videos.. but not mine ofc. Had to drill holes and make a slide hammer with a big socket and the shaft from a caulk gun. My bit walked and cut into the house a ways at one point but didn't destroy it. If you need to drill, use a punch and BE CAREFUL 😅😅😅

did you need to secure the metal jacketing somewhere in the engine bay so it cant move? or is it stiff enough you just hook the cable to the arm and the knob in the cab

Sorry man I just saw this. I didn’t secure the jacketing, just ground it off a few inches back from the throttle assembly on the pump.

I did the same but I noticed watching your video that it’s a short pull on your setup about half of mine.(about 2”)Is the lever going to the full open position? Mine wasn’t at first so I was losing power with less fuel delivery.

I haven’t had any issues with mine. If I don’t have it pushed all the way in though it won’t start.

@@BroomsGarage if you don’t mind my asking…what’s the toggle switch by your left knee for? (when you’re in the seat) I put one there for manual tcc lockup.

Unfortunately this model generator doesn’t have a lcd screen I think the predator does though
