This reminds me of the multiple world's theory. Where humanity on Earth come from different worlds, and habe different stories as to their individual perspectives. I guess it's the idea that all stories have a source regardless of exaggeration or understanding of what's really going on.

Hope all is well with you. Your lore videos have been my biggest consumption this last week or so. I recently got into mhw. Bought it in 2018 never played it more than an hour. 2 weeks ago the game just clicked and ive been hooked. I think the format is difficult to become successful on youtube with because the docuseries are such short form. I dont know what your goals are and hope all is well with you but you have a huge opportunity with your channel especially with wilds releasing next year. My humble opinion: make your docuseries longer. Add content that isnt bloat. It sounds hard, and it will require you to break free of the researcher character. Instead make it more like a report series. The first time deviljho appeared ever, the evolution of devil jho, the variation, thoughts and theories about how it got to the new world etc. You can make the videos go from 5 minutes to 30 with giving us details and i guarantee you people will watch. And with wilds coming up you can solidify your place in the mh lore space. Anyways again maybe you dont care enough or have moved on from the channel. Just pointing out that i fully get the channel must have been difficult to scale due to the main content. But you do have an opportunity and ways to make the vids longer as described with the deviljho example.

After watching this video, I can't help but notice that the deviljho is similar to the skullcrawlers from Legendary's Monsterverse. I mean, both are always hungry and both are extremely aggressive apex predators.

I have this place. The fact dragons and creatures of all kinds go there, willingly, Knowing damn well it will be their grave, and let themselves rot and get devoured by the hornetaurs and girros, it is beyond me.

MH Stories is canon in the same way that the Monsters series is to Dragon Quest imo. Meaning that it is canon but interpreted through the lens of a a child character, so there are lots of exaggerations.

I cannot tell you how many times my Palicoes, the first and second of which I've always named Antoine or Razputin, has saved my bacon across the series in many ways. From playing Health Horns in Generations and Generations Ultimate; unleashing the Kittenator to topple a monster in Rise and Sunbreak; sending Vigorwasps my way, playing the Coral Cheerhorn to apply all sorts of buffs, or helping with my money issues with the Plunderblade in World...the list goes on. But the most important role they've played is distracting a large monster in combat so I can have time to heal, sharpen or the like. And they do it all out of sheer loyalty. If only cats in real life were so loyal and dependable... Also, Felcote's a GUILD KNIGHT?! As in he's allowed by Guild law to hunt down and kill poachers?! They really ARE the equals of humans and Wyverians!

At best i would consider Monsterhunter frontiers edgy anime hype monsters to be experiments done by the ancient civilisation.¨ The equal dragon pact never got finished because it never needed to be, it was only done to learn theory of "manipulating biology" (or smth idk). They then made monstrosities etc, till they made a elder dragon and every elder dragon declared war on them. While being crusaded by literal fantasy dragons the civilisation thought to "fight fire with fire", so they made really powerful elder dragon pets. That turned on them for some reason, crowned themselves elder dragon kings, but there can only be one king so they constantly keep eachoter in line, passive aggressively. Any elder that voyaged out of their likely evolved to a weaker life form like odogaron (ebony odogaron is the species), deviljho (savage is a faulty detrimental individual).

i've never played any Monster Hunter games, (though i've been trying to get a copy of the spin-off game with the Palicos, but there isn't an english translation yet), but i'm absolutely obsessed with Felynes. they're so adorable, and i wish they were real, because i want an entire army of Felynes, not even for battle or anything, just to pamper and spoil.

I have a love hate relationship with my Palico, she sometimes puts the vigorwasp on the most dangerous spot or not heal me for the entire expedition but she is still helpful because she mostly help me out by actually having a good timing for a vigorwasp heal or pushing me to avoid an attack

I have a theory regarding the mystery man, who throughout the MH series, gave us quests to hunt the strongest monsters. I believe the young man from this myth specifically who disappeared after giving his people the dragon scales, is the very same mystery man in scarlet red. The youth, blessed with immortality from the five dragons of creation, now wanders the world and observes the events of the MH timeline. He tests our resolve and our strength as to ensure the balance of the world never faulters as it did during the great Dragon War between the Ancient Civilization and the Monsters of old.
