That matt black on the top of 45's hood will help greatly with light glare, the black paint is made to stop that light from blinding you if it were to reflect off the top of the hood. Compared to yellow top paint it's a much needed upgrade

@@TheBlu04 I’m partial to the yellow hood since it’s what I mostly grew up around. But yes the black topped hoods do serve a good purpose as well as looking good on the bus.

@@BusBoy501Productions I've been riding these buses and doing research since 2011, Northwest Florida is where all of my memories are, and I must say: white roofs are nice when they're clean, especially since most of our pre-2005 buses never had AC lol

Black top hoods look nice, but throughout my time as a student, I never saw a black top hood on a bus, and I’m pretty sure they’re prohibited on Maryland buses.
