The legend and the king, still the legend (Land cruiser) We use it as tug boat( crossing rivers and floods), elevator or roller coaster( mountains and valleys) , bulldozer ( rockey muddy dirt slippery roads) and a train( for long travel thousands of miles). only two types of vehicle I like and trust of off roading. Toyota Land Cruiser and Toyota Hilux pick up truck.

A lot depends on tyres, driver, which diffs the car comes equipped with.....in reality most proper 4x4's are fairly equal. I've seen all of them struggling on wet grass and smashing up impossible climbs.
