I cleaned my feed ramp with a brass brush and rails with oil before I shot my Tisas B45 and it was failing to feed a bit and I knew exactly why, my extractor was tuned to strong from the factory. I relieved it a bit and the pistol had been running smooth with zero issues going on 700 rounds. My Springfield stainless cost me $1200 bucks, my Tisa B45 cost me $505 out the door and it’s just as heavy, robust, reliable, and accurate as my Springfield so I plan to buy a stainless Tisas 5 inch.

i was listening to a podcast with the founder of tisas company and his expertise and oversight sounds like why these guns are so damn good. its a turkish company, but everything about the products are 110% american quality and engineering. at a third of the price. its a win-win

No, but good question. now you made me curious what kind of spider they were.. literally hundreds over the short hike. ive always seen them on hikes in the summertime. some strange small, black spiders that hang in a weird little nest on a couple of strands of web.. you'd probably know what they are.

Most 1911 have only safety on left side. So most grips aren’t designed for right side.

Vz grips told me that they try to accommodate for the variety of safeties on the market. They offered to re-cut them for me free of charge, but the amount of fitting needed was so small, i didn't bother, but it's cool to know they'll do whatver is needed to please their customers.
