My mom (smoker) and aunt (not smoker, lives far away) both have coughing fit... I notice it's worse when they're anxious. I feel like they've accepted it as normal.

The only main thing I have found so far that has had the most significant impact on cancer without major side effects is high-dose glucosidic astaxanthin. At a molecular level, it works by blocking the PDL1 gateway part of the cancerous cells and this removes their ability to disguise themselves. It also has one of the highest ORAC scores ever recorded. There are a lot of supplements you can implement obviously but that's the most potent one there is from what I noticed.

😢 my husband was diagnosed in May of 2024, since then he has lost a lot of lung function! October 29th he was ordered a non-invasive ventilator. He is struggling to use this machine. He is maxed out on his medication, Ofev and one other. He uses a walker and has to have help with daily activities. It is hard to watch him go down. He is 73. 😢

EVERY SMOKER/VAPER NEEDS TO UNDERSTAND: there is nothing good in smoking. in fact: it´s really dumb. dumb to fall in this trap because of dumb reasons. and how does the smoker feel less dumb? if he smokes with other equal dumb smokers. dumb humans that give a shit about themselves and other non smoking people. FREE yourself from this and quit now. the first step is the heaviest. if you do not wanna quit smoking for the health because of unintelligible reasons, think of the money you can save, the tastes that are coming back, the good smells that smell even better, the freedom to not be interrupted bei the urgent to smoke NOW because your body needs it because you are addicted to this shit. standing there and be proud of yourself to finally made it. but be aware: one time smoker, always smoker. you gonna be remembered and triggered by things that are linked in you with smoking: good lunch, after sex, stress on work, stress in private, party, seeing successfull people smoking, seeing attractive people smoking and clever advertisement with nice pictures that tries to manipulate you to come back and give smoking/vaping another chance. C´mon man:Only once. it won´t hurt you. I promise!!! Smoke ME.PLEEEEEASE (but you already know better that this is a LIE)......at the beginning it is very often and it is nerv wrecking (your Body needs 1-3 Weeks, your Mind 2-3 Months), but the longer you resist the desire it gets more and more less pregnant. and your nerves get used to the stress and bulk up and one day you see all the good things in quiting and it makes you Calm and and proud and happy. Why I tell you this? I smoked 13 years one pack daily and now I am free from smoking for a long time. 10...11...12 years...I don´t know and it is not important. Important is that is over and I WISH Every Smoker the same success and the feeling to be finally FREE from this crap. You can do this. Edit: I did it for the Money = D I mean, I propably saved 20000?! bucks ( I mean, it does not get cheaper or what???) until know and it feels awesome!

Inhale slowly through your nose for 2 counts. Feel your belly get larger as you breathe in. Pucker your lips, as if you were going to whistle or blow out a candle. Exhale slowly through your lips for 4 or more counts.

These things have become very popular in Europe among parents of kids with upper respiratory infections. Almost everyone I know has one at home. Our pediatrician told me that using a nebulizer decreases the use of antibiotics for infections in children. They're not expensive and so easy to use. Hence I got one recently and needed a quick tutorial. So thanks!
@yuukihinamori23102 ай бұрын
I currently bought a nebulizer because my IM doctor heard wheezing in my chest or lungs and recommended I buy pulmodual and a nebulizer. It helps since i dont cough as excessive or suffering from breathlessness. Though im not sure, when i do this, i can feel my hands and fingers tingling and stiffening like its locking or something. Im guessing its the side effect of the medicine??? Though it goes away after i finished nebulizing (when the medicine finally ran out)

It would be a great idea to produce an oxygen capsule that can simply be swallowed once or twice daily instead of carrying these big cylinders around... My personal opinion though
@neilmoore5387Ай бұрын
Oh yeah if only it were that easy pal! 😂. I have to lug a 400ml oxygen cylinder in a back pack thing when I’m walking and I hate the stigma. End stage COPD following pneumonia and sepsis 6 years ago. Awaiting a double lung transplant. Just lucky I’m still here. On arrival at Resus my saturations were 57%. Anything below 85-90 is considered dangerous. I was in intensive care for over a month and finally came through but it was the worst time of my life.
