I do not understand the IoT or IIoT gateway part. I mean we add the sensor to the system. Now we started to collect data. But I do not understand how the datas are being sent to the cloud platform. Where is the gateway that includes a M2M simcard? Could you please explain that part?

If I design my own end-node like heltec, I still can't add it on Cayenne. I did received it in TTN but in Cayenne? no luck. Why is this the process of connecting is not so friendly for lora(based on my experience). There is no video tutorial.

The site you download cayenne from requires login. The hyperlink used in video i am assuming was after login thus is broken; Instead use cayenne.mydevices.com.

I'd created trigger for PIR sensor, and facing the problem of receiving the text. When I edit my phone no. , at first attempt it alerts on my phone twice and after second time of detection from PIR I don't receive any text, please help me.

Ive been looking at using Cayenne and a raspberry pi to replace my old security systems door and window sensors. I've seen tutorials and articles about it but most only use 1 or 2 sensors. Does Cayenne support say using a gpio break out board? I'm looking to have the raspberry pi with Cayenne monitor about 20+ door and windows sensors and maybe a handful of motion sensors.

Yep, sure can. It's just data to Cayenne, so it will display whatever data is being received, no matter Fahrenheit, Celsius, or even Kelvin.

Hi Zaen, yes, with Cayenne, you can choose a dashboard view that displays sensor/hardware data from both Arduino and Raspberry Pi together. You can also choose a view that displays only Arduino hardware data or only Pi hardware data, etc. And of course, any IoT hardware can work in our dashboard, not just Pi/Arduino.

Hi Edwin, ESP8266 can be added via the online dashboard and controlled by both the dashboard and mobile apps. It's not yet possible to add an ESP8266 directly from the mobile app, as this is a new feature, but that feature will come soon to mobile.
