I think there's a mod in the mod configuration menu called "Free Zoom"

That explains why they're bullet sponges then, must be a Anomaly/Gamma change since I don't think that was an issue in the originals

I think it might be down to the skill mod that levels up "Survival" the more mutants you loot. I'm not entirely sure though

@@Schrodingers_kid it's not too bad to install as long as you follow the guide on the gamma discord. It can be quite intensive though yeah. It's worth it if you have the PC for it though

Hey thanks, in terms of in game settings, I actually have Anti-Aliasing turned off, same with SMAA. They're quite taxing on my rig. I just rely on using the AtmosR reshade preset with some sharpening settings on. Plus playing in 4k helps

It's worth giving it a go as long as you have the pc specs to do so, just make sure you have enough storage space. It's a 100+ gigabytes ish per recording session that I do so just a warning. There's plenty of guides on here for OBS, plus it's not too difficult to figure out

@@0Nilos Oh I know it takes a lot of space, which is why I want to figure out a balance between quality and space lol And I'm on the laptop so I don't have much space to play around with, which is why I was thinking of shorter recordings, kind of like a compilation of highlights, except I'll be recording only when I know something is about to happen, like a specific mission or a fight Another thing I was thinking of is explaining basic tactics using Stalker, because a surprising amount of CQB works, especially with dumb AI of original trilogy - they will sit in the corner forcing you to actually think of ways to overcome
