So I've heard Blueprint under sells their horsepower rating which is a good thing. This same part number engine says 450 hp and 470 lb/ft. Is that the case here? Is this the same engine on their website right now? If so, those are awesome numbers for the money.
@okcvet1st9 күн бұрын
It's the same engine as their website.

easier to remove bed for me anyhow just 6 bolts tail lights ground strap and three torx bolts in fill i also removed the fill line big hose so i could turn it away from bed then just lift one side of bed 1 man job and prop it up with 2x4 or whatever under wheel wheel. i usually strap that 2x4 to rim and it wont go no where much easier than dropping a tank especially if it was 3/4 full like mine was
@Michael-B4113 күн бұрын
ive never dropped a tank or cut the bed and bed is fairly light once bolts and wires are disconnected etc it moves easy. thin crappy metal on newer cars makes it even better lmao. nice job though.
@Michael-B4113 күн бұрын
plus you know all them plastic lines and connectors i rather take bed off limit the possibility of breaking things
@okcvet1st12 күн бұрын
@Michael-B41 I usually tell people to do what's easiest for them. No wrong way as long as the job gets done and no one gets hurt. I have removed plenty of beds, I just prefer dropping the tank. Thanks for your input, and thanks for watching!

I am new to 4 cycle engines but i want to learn more. So i was wondering if you can do a muffler mod and carburetor tune on a zero turn like we do on chainsaws for added power ? This may be a dumb question but i would appreciate any feedback and thank you for the great video i ma now a subscriber.

Crank HP. Those are the numbers from Blueprint when they ran it on an engine dyno. They sent the sheet with the motor. He talked about it in a previous video.

My 03 started sounding like a spun bearing. Then over heat.. so i looked under the hood and noticed the whole engine bay was soaked. Turned off the motor, and heard steam pressure ... Looked at the water pump area, and seen it smoke and dump liquid... Im no mechanic, but am mechanically inclined, so i figured yourube! Dound your vid, perfect! To the point, straight forward, fairly easy... Thanks bro! Saved me $1000 on a shop to do it!!!! Under 100 and done...

@okcvet1stАй бұрын
You should be able to grab it and do a little wiggle, and get it out. May try turning it slightly like a twist and pull motion. I don't know of any that are bolted in, it should come out rather easily.

Should you just do this with high mileage vehicles instead of a flush?
@okcvet1stАй бұрын
If you really wanted to deep clean it, you could always change the fluid multiple times. Drain and fill, run a few miles, drain and fill, run a few more miles, drain and fill again. It's near impossible to get all the old fluid out no matter how you do it, and it's not worth the time or money to do that. Many people/shops/mechanics push flushing because it's more money in their pocket. Often, they are trying to sell you a service that you don't need. Flushing doesn't apply to every vehicle out there. Every situation is difference and it's up to you or your mechanic to make the decision what is appropriate. Hopefully, you have an honest mechanic.

Great, great speedy explanation. You got the point across in a clear concise manner and I found it very helpful. I put uv leak detection oil in and the 2 orings on the condenser are leaking. I'm contemplating replacing the condenser and dryer, while I have the system leaked down.

@noecampos13592 ай бұрын
Do you know how to check the level fluid ? And how. I can know whene is is correct.
@okcvet1stАй бұрын
Many transmissions today have no way to check the actual level, and you rely on adding the proper amount when you fill it. Some trans have check plugs on the side, but not all have one. So if a trans has a book capacity of 2.5 qts, you put in 2.5 qts. In this case, the trans hold 5.3 qts. So add 5.3 qts and you should be good. You drain all the old and fill with 5.3 qts. Now you know it has the right amount. Where most people have issues is making sure they are looking up the correct trans and specs. There's many options. The best way is to call a dealership, talk to the parts dept, give them your vin number, ask them what trans is in your vehicle, and what the drain and fill capacity is. That's if you don't have an owners manual that states it. If you have a six cylinder the transmission will most likely be different than if you had a four cylinder car. In this video, the car is an 2011 with a 4 cyl.
