It’s a cool idea but in principal it’s super hard use. The manual is very vague and the instructions are complicated and don’t really work well. They should set it up internally so that channel 1 is index pos Channel 2 is rotate pos Channel 3 is speed. Instead it has 6 channels which need to be set then changed, and some dmx is stored then continuously played back unless you set all channels to zero and reset the units power. A very strange and over complicated rotator that clearly needs a firmware update.

Thanks for your inquiry. Unless removed by water it can last several years, BUT the flame retardancy of the product on which it is used must be tested every year, or after any exposure to water, including high humidity.

Ann's project captures the transcendence that typifies great art. Lying under the giant curtain as it furls had to be absolute magic.

Kudos to Jeremy Roth. Wilco's lighting and backgrounds have never seemed better than now. The lights really complement and enhance the experience of a show.

Nit Pik- It can't be a 1/4 ton motor if it's 300, 600, or 1000 lb capacity. I would sure hope a 1/2 ton motor holds 1000lbs. Please see the dictionary definition of a ton.

He said 500lbs which is quarter ton. The label on hoist even says 500. Use a dictionary and look up pay attention.

Although we were not involved in the lighting plot, our observations were that ordinary ceiling lights within the Armory illuminated parts of the curtain and we believe gobos were used from above to create the rectangular squares of light on the ground.

Nice. Where's the lighting?

Really nice. But it would be interesting to see more "behind the scenes" detail of the rigging system (as the title of the video says).
