@jhrsmail it looks good but IMO a chop will make it a little more proportional for the eyes. The windows will appear longer and make it look less boxy. Thinking I'll add a sliding vinyl insert while I'm at it.

That is known as The Waterfall. Not too far from the entrance on the Evarts side. It is about 6 feet tall nowadays. It is a lot of fun. I was surprised I didn't make it as I have been up it before. In hindsight I should have shifted into second.

@@MacsSpecialitiesProperties i changed to a high volume pump. It took a good 20 degrees out of it. I'm going to add some air ducting under the rig to give me a little more ram air effect at speed to try and get another 10 degrees out of it.

@MacsSpecialitiesProperties one thing I didn't do but should have is the use of smaller diameter tubing. I used 1.5vinch and should have used 1.25 inch. It helps increase velocity and makes it a little easier on the pump to prevent cavitation

@MacsSpecialitiesProperties thin wall tube hrew. Bent it on the tubing bender like you would for a roll cage. Used 1.75 tubing for couplers at welded joints and silicone tube at removable connections.

As I have developed my skills over the years I have developed a much greater appreciation for the time that people put into their projects. Even ones that I don't necessarily like, I find I can appreciate their skill and attention to detail. I just wonder why they wasted it on what they did!!!

I dig the buggy, someday I will build one when I am done thrashing my TJ "wanna be buggy" it still has half the frame a hood and a grill so its still a jeep.

Just don't get rid of the jeep while you build. That was my big mistake. I didn't wheel while I was building and it was a struggle to stay motivated because of it

You will love having that transmission jack. I use mine for everything from moving axles to actually working on transmissons/transfer cases

My .02 gets I like the lower old daully single grille... Changes the look, so it's not just a lowered jeepster... Then, use your skills to personalize it.. Keep it fun Wish I doing it, but not in the cards for me......

Appreciate the props. I am positive that the dually axle is going under it. I should be starting that process this week. I am still undecided on what grill and hood to use. That decision will probably happen after I get the body set on the frame and can get a better look at the stance with everything sitting on it.

Im running old H1 wheels and tried pvc inserts back in early 2000's. Had nothing but problems and fought like hell to get them in and seated. Finally gave up and I'm back to the magnesium run flats. Bummer is no one makes pressed centers for them anymore and I bend up the plate ones.

@@Paper452 I personally would move to 17 inch wheels. I know the upfront cost is large but there are more choices out there and tire manufacturers are likely to drop the 16.5 before long. Lots of good used wheel and tire setups for sale in the 17 flavor

Like everyone I have fought and cobbled together solutions to remove transmissions. Finally broke down and got a trans jack, best 229 I have spent. In one of your vdeos can you cover your buggy more in depth?

Yes it was a ground up build. Finished it in 2020. Of course I damaged the motor last week on my groups wheeling trip. So motor is coming out soon
