The first four digits in what you call the case number is in fact the movement caliber number. So, your diver has a 7S26 automatic movement. The last 4 four digits is the case model.

Thank You for the video. Trying to pry open a snap back cover with any old tool is very risky - especially with older watches. Many snap back case watches have a notch at th 6, 9 or 12 position to give the appropriate sharp removal tool some purchase. So look for and use the notch rather than trying to stick the pry tool anywhere between the cover and the case. Removing the snap back cover is not always easy. But getting it back on is often much more difficult particularly with battery powered watches. The cover needs to be in perfect alignment with the battery in order for it to snap back into place properly and create a good seal. If you value your snap back cover watch its usually best to take it to a professional to replace the battery etc. Cheers from the Land Down Under.

Thank you, I had seen other videos, but they were not as clear as yours regarding the move needed to remove the pin. You saved my day, as I had to shorten a watch to be used tomorrow morning. Thanks again for creating and sharing this video.

Good demonstration. Nice voice too 😊 lol I have been looking for a strap just like this but the NATO’s I have seen and so many other types and styles don’t have the separate shorter Velcro section which go under the lugs does this type of strap have a particular name for the style? I also have an original strap that is similar which come with my timex expedition but that short section is not velcro it’s stitched at both ends does that style have a name for it ? Thanks

Just ordered that tool. Never seen it on Amazon OR on other videos. I hope that this is durable because other tools on amazon always snap. I was about to buy gun punches because at least they're made of straight up hard steel and won't snap. This seems muuuch easier like something a Rolex service guy would use.

Thanks so much for this excellent instructional video! A tool was sent with the watch, and by seeing this video was able to use the tool to shorten the band...which I could not have done if I had not watched (no pun intended) this video.

I’m looking for a strap to wear on top of winter jacket sleeve. How long is the strap? What is the largest wrist size the watch strap can fit?
