When I was young, my computer wasn't good enough to run FSX, so I ended up playing FS2004 instead. The graphics looked pretty decent at the time, and just the fact that I could fly around the entire world in an airplane felt absolutely amazing

Why was runway 07L named as runway 08? Is it due to a FS2004 limitation?

Yes it is. If I rename the old 07L to 07C, the ILS will still be seen as linked to "07L" and not be seen as linked to 07C, which will be confusing if I then have a new 07L

@StillusingFS2004 That's a pretty interesting workaround. It will probably be accurate in the future if ever HKG decides to build a new runway next to the new 07L .Then you'll have 08L and 08R 😄

Is it possible to make the AI land and takeoff using more than 2 runways? Good looking airport, similar to OMDW (after expansion)

Yes you can, but you may have to create separate airports in AFCAD for it but put the airports next to each other. You won't be able to do this if you create one airport only. This airport I have is created using two separate airports

You are right, and with editvoice the ATC is much better for fs2004 and fsx, listening Xp12 and fs24 fail in ATC and clouds, but i remember in fs98 the ATC and clouds effects were much better and realistic.

I dont recognise a flight sim unless its hanging and stuttering, pausing as it streams in the data or CTD suddenly. 😂 Brilliant this is.

It's crazy how far we've come. I still remember the original MSFS 1982 from 20 years ago. The new MSFS 2004 is a whole differnt class of realism.

I used the IFDG airbusses A319/A320/A321 together with the payware PSS panels in Fs2004. That was an almost perfect combination. But if i remember well there were also good freeware A320 panels.

Thank you. let me try it out. I tried one freeware panel before but it failed to capture the glideslope (it happened in one of my videos published in May, in which my plane stalled on approach to Gatwick)

Hi, I use AFCAD which allows you to modify existing airports or build new ones elsewhere. The buildings are added using EZ-SCENERY, while the AI traffic is added using Traffic Tools. AI aircrafts are downloaded manually and I use Traffic Tools to generate flightplans manually using Notepad. Thank you for watching.
