Nice video for the port city and the hotel . I'm going to stay at this hotel for a couple of days next spring . Looking forward to the breakfast at Harbour Kitchen . Did you miss breakfast there ? If you did , then maybe next time .

it's amazing how you hold the camera to keep it steady

Thanks - I don't like to use a gimbal because it is too conspicuous so I use Active Stabilization often with a small bit of warp stabilizer in post.

Superb work, Michael! I'm envious. You made me look up this Osmo stuff. What's the learning curve on that? Also, what portions of the video are your original music? Finally, I felt like I don't live in Japan. I mean, maybe I need to get around. A request: can you briefly list the locations? I've been to Kyoto (it's been a long time since) but didn't recognize anything hardly. No Ryoanji, no Kinkakuji, no Sanjusangendo.....which is fine! These were all fabulous scenes.
@michaelwalton54524 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment. The Osmo is just a gimbal to help stabilise the footage - not much of a learning curve there. In terms of the music, I always do 100% of it - no issues with copyright then! I edited the comment to list most of the locations. Cheers

@@michaelwalton5452 I guess if I want better videos, even if I had an Oslo I'd have to go to more than one place. facebook.com/684198563/videos/10158224619903564/ But I'm still learning FCP, slowly. (I meant Osmo. I said Osmo, but Google said Oslo. I didn't say Oslo. You know?)
