You can take Duolingo English Test (DET) which is cheaper 65 dollars and it also has a free practice test available

Unfortunately, I have not heard about any free versions, however there are 2 options: 1) Take DET(Duolingo English Test) - it still costs money, however its cheaper(but you have to first contact university and check if they will accept). 2) Email your university directly about it, so when i was applying we had a possibility of taking the english test with the university itself and actually some universities do not even require it and they test your knowledge based on the interview, so I would say reach out to the university you want to apply to.

I am not sure about the exact requirements to be honest, but on the website of the apply stipendium hungaricum when you are choosing your university, they do mention all the requirements. You can always directly email the university.

Usually, universities list the dormitories on their website. if you know the name, just put the name in google maps and you can see the pictures.

Hmmm... I would say just tell them about the reasons you want to study CS and talk a bit about your background and what are you planning to do with your CS major after. Its all about storytelling.

1) Its not so hard for the first time because most of necessary documents will be sent to Hungary from the Embassy. 2) As for the dormitory, you can put your preference, however, university assigns them on the basis of availability.

Dormitory is basically a room shared by 2-3 people during the period of studies. It costs 40 000 HUF(which is $103USD)

Its possible, but you might struggle during your essay since you have to write one essay to both universities and since these are totally separate majors, will be harder to show them your full interest, however i think if these two major are truly what you are passionate about, then go for it. You can play with it and mention in your essay that you want to maybe build a foundation in public health and later on learn commerce and apply to the real life cases. Its totally up to you how you want to play with it.

Oh, i read the question a bit wrong and thought you want apply to different universities with 2 different major. In case of only one university, I dont think that you can choose 2 different majors, however its always worth trying.

@ 1) yes, you can change your university only once and it should be done during your first year. 2) you should try and take it before you apply.
