Yes. I've seen some very unhappy hotel workers using a net to fish out pig poop in the water near their shore. So nasty. 😅

STAY AWAY!!! YOU CAN LOSE YOUR LIFE OR LIMB. Lots of BACTERIA IN THE WATER WITH PEEING AND POOPING PIGS. Wondered what all the waivers are for? Because it’s very dangerous. I took my wife to an excursion on Pigs Island on Valentines 2024 in Nassau and she almost DIED 5-6 days later.… Got bacterial infection in her Blood. She was in ICU for 5 days and luckily made it 🙏

I lived in san blas for 7 months as a missionary at the island of acuadup. Its about a 5 minute boat ride from Puerto de carti, we built a church right on the water edge of the island. But long story short i was there when covid just started and all countries started closing, as did panama city so we had no way to go get our normal groceries. So for the 3 months i was stuck there befor the us embassy evacuated me. We went spear fishing ever afternoon for protien and seeing you spear fishing san blas brought back so many memories, im so jealous
