You say little thermal bridging. Earth walls are not insulation. Is hempcrete different; does it insulate?

The 2x8 studs are your sill and top plate while 2x4’s fill the inside of the wall. If you scroll back a few videos you can see the videos on framing.

Could you please do something like a This Old House episode on how to use hempcrete to insulate an old lathe and plaster home with brick walls.

hemp and hempcrete are still far to expensive to build with. Limited availability and importing of lime just drive the product to crazy expensive levels. There are ways to get around some of the problems with availability of shiv or hurd but will take suppliers of the hemp to grow more here in the US. As to lime I suppose using portland as a pozzilan will offset the problems with importing from france

Hemp is incredibly flammable. This is a horrifically bad idea.

"Hempcrete" is inflammable, because of the lime binder... and is a fantastic insulator and is also mould free, so durable.
