Still make drone footage? They're beautiful, truly! What program do you use to colorize them in such a vibrant color-scheme?

I spent my summers as a child in Painted Post. I had story-book grandparents. I look back on those days with great joy. It was a wonderful place to be a youngster.

Was in Corning with my wife back in the spring to visit the glass museum. After that we went into the town. We absolutely loved it! Very beautiful little town! 😌

As someone that lived in the area for a long time, I can appreciate this. I live in Arizona now where we don't have this beautiful season. It's mostly brown! Thank you!

I went to Tioga Central High School back in 1981-84. I do miss the place. They had a Strawberry Festival every year that was so much fun.

That is both awesome and cool. I've never seen anything like that before, worn by Santa Claus.

Well, the church still stand but all of the Victorian buildings are gone. It looks like a clear cut. Would be nice if the economy had not been destroyed by globalization. Then maybe some historic minded investors might have been able to restore some of those beautiful old homes. The few that are left are just waiting to be torn down.

Thank you, John, for such a beautiful film of Corning. I consider myself so fortunate to have grown up there. I graduated from East High School in 1986. So much has changed since I have left. Your film brought a tear to my eye reminiscing about a near perfect childhood in a near perfect City. Thank you.

From the air it is. Come down to the streets, and it’s drug ridden, shootings and stabbings constantly. This city has become a shit area now. It’s sucks, because it does look beautiful. It’s not the same place I grew up in.

But don’t be deceived. It’s bad here. Drugs, shootings and stabbings are now a weekly event. Just drive down the street here, and the people that are walking is enough to make you want to get out of the area. Druggies, and the amount of homeless is crazy.!!! Sad

@@MartinJBenjaminJr this is the second comment i've seen where you completely bash elmira. um not to point out the obvious, but the stuff you're pointing out can be found in literally every city on the entire planet. A city is what you make of it. One should focus on the good in life, and not the bad, otherwise why live to begin with? And also, if elmira is such a horrific place for you, then you can always just up and leave. No one's forcing you to stay.

Love watching these videos... I'm a "born-in-Elmira-but-left-when-I-had-the-chance" ex-patriate and these vids bring back long-forgotten joy seeing Elmira again....Please, if I could mention one thing: If you could label the parts of the city you are flying over, that would be GREATLY APPRECIATED...

I grew up on the West Side in the 80s and I would ask my father to drive me around the big houses in Strathmont Park so I could roll down the windows and “smell the money”😂. Thanks for uploading these videos. Brings back memories for us old Elmirans.

I'm planning to move back home soon (Elmira). I've been living in LA for the past 10 years and I have been watching all the videos on Elmira I can find so I know what to expect. I'm a little stressed that it's not the home of the Blue Devils anymore,😞 I graduated from EFA. But thank you for the video.
