That defense was not underrated and is not underrated. Everyone knows, including the NFL, that this defense is one of the greatest all time defenses.

I'm as annoyed by Rodgers as much as anyone but he basically has right around the same playoff record as Peyton Manning and Brett Favre. I think what dogs him more was he won his Super Bowl so early that it just was expected that more would come.

Very true. Rodger’s and Manning’s careers are actually very similar, but are viewed completely differently. Most people love Manning and hate Rodgers.

Tom Brady isn't the greatest QB in NFL History. The NFL handicapped the defense with rule changes that would give the WR the unfair advantage to increase their income by continuing that unfair playing by insuring the NFL would become this pass happy crap we see today. Including protecting their pride and joy Tom Brady. The tuck rule, when hs got injured(knes) nope can't tackle the QB by the knee but everyone else didnt give a dam. The most protected QB IN HISTORY. WHO'S offensive line could on every passing play . Yet other qb were getting the snot knock out of them you do that to Queen Brady PF, fined; suspended; and referees insuring you were heavily penalties etc. This is no longer the grtd iron. Pretty boys who throw pretty sparrows and catch be touched

I hear you on that. The rules definitely benefited Brady, but 7 rings is tough to beat. Who do you have #1?

Manning was a better quarterback. Brady had the man power around him to win all the time.
@c-love-vidsАй бұрын
That’s fair. Brady had the better coaching and defenses around him, but you could make the argument that Manning had the better offensive weapons around him throughout his career.
@dunsdonjone1537Ай бұрын
@@c-love-vids you don't need weapons if you have better pass protection since the extra time allows the offense to call slow-developing pass-catching routes such as double moves. When Brady is under pressure like the two super bowls vs the Giants, he poops his pants. There is a reason why the patriots grovelled to get their old o-line coach to come out of retirement. Manning is better against the pass rush when compared vs Brady but nobody cares about offensive line play.
@c-love-vidsАй бұрын
I’m not arguing that Brady is better. I just think it’s a little more nuanced than people believe.

Brady is still THEE GOAT !!!! 11 wins over Manning’s 6 and SEVEN SUPER BOWL RINGS may not be seen again for decades! Finally getting back home to New England last year after being away for 25 years and going to Gillette and the Patriots Place museum was awesome!! The best defense ever. Look at their opponents and compare them to the opponents of the other great defenses. The 2015 Broncos beat hofers Tom Brady twice, Ben Rothlisberger, Philip Rivers, Aaron Rodgers, and that year's MVP Cam Newton in the superbowl; not to mention the dynamic offenses of the modern day. The 2000 Ravens didn't play one hof qb or great offense. The 85 Bears would get smoked by today's offenses, just like the Marino-led Pass-happy Dolphins of the day did.

Dont know what u been smoking but we didnt lose to the patriots back in 2016 by a score of 17-36 as you stated we lost by literally one touchdown i remember that game cuz i just came back from a youth forestry camp out in white haven pa for a 6 month juve bid and we lost cuz the cheating ass refs were in the pockets of brady and belicheich and the game came down to one specific call where jessie james dived into the end zone untouched and the ball just barely moved in his hands and at first the refs called it a score but then shit got weird and they called it a score fumble and recovery by the offense but then another discussion happened and suspiciously around belichiech and the patriots team with most of the refs all around him and then they decided it was a incomplete pass and we had one last play left and i feel like they missed a holding on one of our recievers and the pass was picked off by rickishaying off a deflection and ultimately we lost but not by that score.
