My rosella reacts too❤

Mine have a strong positive reaction to this video too. I wonder what it is that influences their opinions of videoes. I tried another video straight after this one & they ran away to hide! Most videos they watch with interest for a while then get bored & wander off, but still enjoy it in the background - and my lazy boy regularly comes out to his tv watching perch & sits on it & demands I turn on his bird videos for the little couch potato to sit watching lol

​@@rosemariechilds2033 lol even in the wild I think the scaly breasts get confused if there's few of them & lots of rainbows around :) I think lorikeets are just too "out there" in terms of personality to really care about little things like correct species to mate with lol. Have you seen the videos of the ones trying to mate with plush toys? Mine are actually rescues & pretty messed up emotionally. My girl desperately wants to be mated with, but my boy can't handle any touch, due to his past abuse, so it's actually rather funny watching her chasing him & him trying to escape her. I'm trying to build a playlist for him showing him what do do :) He's already got a preening one & general one, but I think he's ready to learn the next step in the process now, I hope! He is getting better with slight contact with my girl without freaking out, but it's hard, cause he's actually very happy just being around her without touch, but she desperately wants more & plucks because of the lack of physical contact, but she's also very close to him, so I don't think introducing another one would work either, so I just have to try to work on teaching my boy & encouraging him I think, so lots of video tutorials for him lol & thanks for your reply too :)
