great talk; I can relate to a lot of what you say re: creativity being a part of what i do/who i am but also feeling like it's not enough. feeling like the slog is where good things come from vs. single-mindedly pursuing a passion of some kind.

I'm re-listening to this episode, and it's interesting to feel the difference over the last year. I just listened to the part that talks about the value of just doing the work in any endeavor (especially the parts of the work that are necessary but boring, or difficult, or just a major pain in the ass for whatever reason), and the value I get from being willing to put in the time. I'm feeling grateful that I stayed the course with my current project (play.jeffluntgames.com/sips/chats), and that it's out there, and it's starting to find a player base.

Hi, I liked this podcast episode... When I clicked the video I didn't expect it to be a Podcast and instead thought is was a game trailer or devlog. Maybe if the title had the word Podcast it would communicate better that this is a Podcast. Anyways, I am glad I found it and hope to catch the second one. Cheers!

Is there a way to assign miners or haulers to another depot?

For sure. If you select a ship, which turns it blue, then right click the depot you want it to be reassigned to, that will reassign the selected ship to the depot. There should be a notification message as well when this happens, that the ship has been reassigned.

I'm interested in this, I like space games and I have one request which you could add into the game Pirates. A rare event where Pirate ships appear and attack your ships, stealing their loot instead of destroying them outright

I think there's going to be some kind of danger or risk introduced at some point. I like the idea of pirates, or other competing ships in some form for sure. Thanks for watching!
