My heart's in the Highlands, my heart is not here, My heart's in the Highlands, a-chasing the deer; Chasing the wild-deer, and following the roe, My heart's in the Highlands, wherever I go. Farewell to the Highlands, farewell to the North, The birth-place of Valour, the country of Worth ; Wherever I wander, wherever I rove, The hills of the Highlands for ever I love. Farewell to the mountains, high-cover'd with snow, Farewell to the straths and green vallies below; Farewell to the forests and wild-hanging woods, Farewell to the torrents and loud-pouring floods. My heart's in the Highlands, my heart is not here, My heart's in the Highlands, a-chasing the deer; Chasing the wild-deer, and following the roe, My heart's in the Highlands, wherever I go.

I am trying to buy the sheet music but it says minimum 10 orders? I just need 1. I cant buy 1? What would I do with 10?
@MichaelThomasCoull8 ай бұрын
Yes that's right. As I said it is a choral arrangement for SATB choir, and choir music is always sold in bulk (in this case a minimum of 10) for a choir. Unfortunately there is no other purchasing option. Have a look on the internet, you might be able to find a piano/vocal sheet music version somewhere, that would be more suitable for you.

Hi there, thanks for the comment - always nice to get some positive feed back! I use x2 P120 condenser microphones by AKG plugged (XLR cables) into a UNC202HD audio interface by Behringer, which in turned is plugged (USB) into my MacbookPro, and I use Garage Band to record. The microphones (on mic stands) are set 28cm from the strings and a minimum of 84 cm apart from each other. The right channel microphone is over the treble strings and the left channel microphone is over the bass strings. Hope that info is of some use to you. Thanks again for your comment.

Twenty-five years ago this year (2022) I was a member of a local amateur dramatic society. One of our members was also actively involved in a local scout group, who had intended to put on a nativity comedy children’s musical called ‘Three Wise Men And A Baby’ by a christian production company called Jungle Jam. Unfortunately their production fell through, so the member brought it to us to see if we would be interested in putting it on for the local children. A group of us had already produced several musicals, and as the musical was really good we thought it would be fun. But it was rather short, so we looked at some other Jungle Jam productions to see if any would be suitable to use as a first act, and settled on another comedy called ‘Cheetah Bonita Goes Solo’ that used some of the same characters. The only problem was that the only form it existed in at that time, was on cassette - there was no written script or score. So I (probably rather sillily) volunteered to transcribe it off the cassette, and so several months later this was the result...
