If this is historically accurate then Alexander Hamilton is one of the worst husbands of history in my opinion. Probably the worst since the God Zeus himself seriously how many affairs did Zeus have and how many of them resulted in children. It's worse considering that Zeus forced Hera to marry him after she refused multiple times, Hamilton chose to sacrifice his wife's dignity in order to try and save his political career by having evidence of his affair,love letters between himself and his mistress, when Thomas Jefferson was accusing him of treason during the race to become the next president which caused his wife to be publicly humiliated and after she left him and took their kids with her their son ended up being killed in a duel while defending his mother's honor.😮😡😢

When I listen to this song or watch it on the screen, I understand that Eliza's angry with Hamilton for what he did, but this animation had so much emotion in it. It was incredible to watch and made the song a lot clearer for me. Excellent work 👏👏.

And *why* was this song not in the musical??? It perfectly shows how Eliza noticed everything, how angry and heartbroken she is. She notices how other women are around Alexander, but we never get to know this in the current version of Burn. This song shows so much about Eliza that we didn't know and its so beautiful.

I don't love Eliza, not gonna lie. Maybe it's because I'm too idealistic, maybe it's because of my thoughts about the 18th century, but the fact is: musical Elize is very annoying person for me. Maybe, it's because she's stupid in my eyes, because, my god, girl, do you really think that poor soldier guy just fell in love with you from the first gaze? Isn't it too much naive? She is the lucky one - her husband working hard to provide for her and their children, but what she do? Just bugging him without any case! I mean, Alexander was REALLY hard working to to keep his place in politics and continue to provide for his pretty bigl family. But what his "beloved" wife do in musical? Just annoyed him and tried to get him to quit his job for a summer vacation, what will basically mean his dismissal! And after that, she leaves offended for a long time, leaving her tired husband without an outlet. What did she expect at a time when cheating was already considered the norm? For that time, it's a shame for a wife, not for husband and, of course, he first of all cared about his reputation, because the success of his work depended on his reputation, and accordingly the money he received! I think, historical Elize was much more logical, at least not so naive, so, her reaction was much more calmer. Uh, I guess, there's many mistakes, cause English isn't my native language, but I can't keep silence anymore!
