With the pandemic I suspect we'll see more of this. Even well endowed museum ship's like NYC's USS Intrepid are laying off staff and cutting services. Sad, but think of it as Swedish death cleaning. Communities will be ridding themselves of maritime heritage as the host communities are under extreme duress.

This was a failed attempt at getting this boat on land. I was personally there for a visit a few years ago. As someone who dwelled in this small town, I do know who the council are and doesn't surprise me that they wasted money on this.
