Instead of going by Penny Lane. What fits her best is Panty Stain.

Whoever wrote this nailed it. Fantastic scene. They were there. Somehow, they were there in 1973. How could they not have been?

This is such a trite beer commercial scene. It’s like “ at sunset they all throw clamshells”. And just because Crowe is in love with some passed around- groupie- doesn’t give him some right to tell us all what the true meaning of rock music should be.

I happen to love Frances McDormand's long work history, so many great films. She shines as always in Almost Famous.

Brings back memories of the love and good vibes of the seventies. Of course some never felt it. I feel sorry for them.

To be a part of this type of group energy is intense. I experienced it once at Tims stray dog cantina, apres closing day end of ski season at Taos NM. Probably other times too. Cheers.

I’m finding time crawling up my back and whispering in my ear you’ve watched the last movie heard your last song you’ll never feel though you belong the reach of death is cold in its grip, and soon you will feel the last feelings slip it will be as it was before you were nothing. This will consume the darkness will bloom. Those who knew your name Will fade and it will be as if you never were. we are here for about a time and time takes us to where we were😢

I grew up with this song. Flash forward 40 years and my nephew went to see this movie. He gushed. Gushed! about this song. I paid $4.00 for the album. He paid $25.00 for the vinyl.

4:12 When I was 14. I was in a juvenile detention facility for 90 days (stole a car that belonged to a cop). One of our school teachers was named, Ms. Ball. Who looked down on us a lot. Especially, for an educator. Always talking about how wonderful and righteous her family was. Couple weeks of this crap and we get word. That her daughter is in Juvenile Hall (directly across the street from us) because she ran off with a bunch of bikers. Hearing it come out of her mouth so closely resembles what the Mom is saying here. Really cool memory.
