I use center pull balls often and it took a little work spinning the ball around in one hand and plying with the other, watching your video made such a difference! So much easier the way you hold it and control the outter ply. Great Video! Thanx

Thank you!! I am working a pattern for a top. I'm making XS size and so the pattern called for 1 regular stitch between the DS... 15 of them on either side of the center back. I worked the DS according to pattern.... It looks Horrendous after working into the DS!!! Absolute GARBAGE. So I laid in bed thinking of how I could improve upon this whole process. Like you, I hate the way the DS looks when you make them on the knit side. And I kid you not, I laying there, I finally decided, hey I'm just going to knit the last st on the purl side instead of purling it. I woke up this morning and saw your video and bam! 😂 I'm so happy someone else feels the same way and has the same idea. So I'm working up a swatch just to see it played out. I still think the One regular st between the DS is going to be an issue though. 😢 Anyway, thanks again❤

Awesome review. To answer your question about the woolly winder of I’m needing to get even as little as 600 two ply yards from a 4oz hand dyed top it’s too much take up but ounce I aim for 1000 yards two ply there is just no way.

This is about the 7th video I’ve watched on the continental knitting technique and the first one that works for me! 🎉🎉🎉

You can still do a long tail cast on rather than a knitted CO. Knitting continental does not mean you CO like you are. That's a choice all on its own.

If you are using different color (or shape or whatever) beads, you have to string them on the yarn in the pattern which you will need.

This is the first time I've come across 'slipping the LAST stitch, then knitting it after turning work. It would have been interesting to here your reasoning for doing it that way. Thanks anyway

I do tatting with beads (I learned from Nina Libin) but I love your method of applying the beads with the crochet hook. That comparison between the first two methods how the beads look in the work is really good and your floss method is great. I like to travel with my beads so having all of these methods is just a win-win for me. I've only done a very little knitting, but it looks like I'll be going back to it, thanks to this video.

Question: will it cause problems to do a k1 slip 1, slip 1 k1 pattern on the gusset? Bc I would like the bottom of my foot to have a squishy cushion if possible.

I know this is a very old video, but a good one. Unfortunately I don't see the pattern for this type of heel on your ravelry site. The only one I see is the toe up with wraps. I don't see one with the instructions you use here. You don't wrap anything in this video.
