I can understand where she's coming from. Ive had a friend ask if i want to hangout/do something fun and i say hell yeah. Later another friend invites me to do something fun, but its the same day/time as the other thing I already agreed to. I finally got to where i just see it as "first come, first served" If the first thing I agreed to falls through and doesnt happen, I check to see if the other thing is still going on. Granted I know Mint's stuff is more business oriented, so once you say yes youre pretty much stuck with it until its done.

I know what she's feeling is so valid, but I just cant help but think what is she talking about?? She's doing such an amazing job! Obviously there's way more to the story, but I hope she knows she's amazing at what she does. I've never had the pleasure of knowing her when she was an angel, but I love her now as a ghost. 🩵

I noticed it in her previous form as well, Mint is super duper hard on herself. Makes me sad because she's so creative and I think she's doing amazing, it's a shame she doesn't see that sometimes :/

when she mean 'stuck' its sounds like shes waiting on something..(Probably an opportunity) she could go Vshojo EN audition now (as they actually open now), but she said she can't. i think its her prohibition clause that dont allow her to work any company in 7 month after her past graduation in her previous company. it sucks tbh. i hope it will be lifted before end of this month. tbh, i would be very happy if shes stay as Mint. i mean she is doing sooo good now seeing her subs getting increase and get the silver youtube buttons. but if its her decision wants to be in Vshojo, i don't mind at all. as long as shes happy.

@@Execuorthis is just my thoughts, but I don’t think we can compare the contract stuff with that of Mata and Kuro. At some point, when Pomu decided to stay, she might’ve renewed her contract, and on that renewal, there’s probably an updated clause that theoretically makes her unable to join companies. Mata and Kuro did nit renew so probably the outdated one was a bit “free-er” But anyway that’s just me probably

@@rirtunsasgi2626 what about Japanese laws? You probably already know, but Mint is an avid idol fan and loves Japan. I'm not sure if that's how it works, but she could be criminalized under Japanese law and won't be able to go back to Japan or something. At least that's what I think.

Every other Niji member entered the company without auditions, so I find it's very unlikely to blame that. When Vshojo opened auditions last time, the one who entered was Haruka (who despite being a friend of Vshojo girls, actually had to go through the audition process)

@@KaoKacique ^this^ And it wasn't always just a "done deal" cause according to Michi a month or so back, she got rejected internally at first. And even if Haruka may have been the best of the bunch, a lot or using the fact that she was friends, or at least friendly, with several Vshojo members prior to her getting hired, as the only reason she got in, which is just sad.

Well. I have no doubt they offered her a spot. But at the same time Mint kind of chose to be, indie. Kind of like Doki. Vshojo did at least offer some help here and there for things. So. Maybe she did finally actually say yes to full membership finally. Who knows

If she wanted to join Vshojo she would have already. They straight up buttered her up with a free updated model and taking care of her and matara's podcast merch. She wants to be indie right now. (Unless she turned them down because she was aiming for HoloEN Gen 4, failed that, and is now reconsidering)

Eh, I love Mint, but I get the feeling she's a bit too isolated despite being very successful as an indie. She's vague, and we don't really know much, but if it's about taking a big step in her career, I think she shouldn't miss the opportunity that someone close has probably already offered her. I say this with all respect for her and her dreams, but, as she said, sometimes we're in the unfortunate situation where we say no to things waiting for a better personal chance, and the risk is that we end up with nothing from either. Much love to Minto!

Well, they just opened auditions...but the last time they did that, they ended up picking someone who was already part of the friend group anyway (Haruka). Maybe history will repeat itself?

@joshthefunkdoc it almost definitely will. Vshojo is technically a business but its way more of a friend group. I would bet my sack another big name they're already friends with will end up "making the cut."

@@skrubknight884 the main issue people have with it isn't it's existance as a friend group but the idea they are opening up auditions in a seemingly impartial way only for it to end up being a friend who could have joined outside of this alloted time that people hoped would let in new faces. I say all of this as a huge v-shojo fan but last time they did an audition like this is was just kinda dissapointing. I hope this one turns out differently. (also not to say Haruka doesn't deserve her spot, she is wonderful and of course fits right in with the rest of v-shojo)

@@wyldhorn2277 whose to say they will? Correct me if i'm wrong but Haruka auditioned same as the rest. That also seems to imply anyone currently on friendly terms with V-Shojo isn't just gonna get automatically offered a spot unless they audition. Despite some gentle pushes from people i know Sushidog and Meichafox were hesitant about the prospect in general, and i don't know if Ari or Heavenly or Saiiren have commented on it at all.
