I was 19 years old when this song came out, studying in Baguio City.. I just close my eyes now each time, and fill my mind with college memories, while listening to this song. It's nice to live again in those moments if even only in listening to this song. Thank you for your art. I will never forget my college days because of these songs.

Man, I remember listening to this song when i was young(like 15 or 16) and relating to it then. Now here I am at 34 and i wish i could say I can't relate to this song, but I still can(especially the part "outside I'm smiling but the truth is that I'm crying inside, I've tried") Sometimes, I try to convince myself I don't want to be in a relationship. However, deep down I would still like to get married. I'll just have to keep working on myself, so I'll be "ready" when that time comes.

Been listening to this for almost a decade now and I can't believe I just learned that Lionel Richie made this song 😂 I prefer Taj's cover tho cuz his voice suits this song style more than Lionel's voice 😅
